Lol he's about to sign with the saints bit didn't want Raiders getting anything in return and wanted to help saints salary cap situation by signing cheaper
And just gives the Raiders one less draft pick to offer the Packers for Rodgers. Very good development for the beloved if it plays out this way.

Do you think Tee would be traded for a 2nd? If traded, Tee is going for a 1st and likely more. I think if the Bears could trade down and get a 1st in the #12-20 range and flip it for Tee, that would be the play.
More likely Cincy trades Tyler Boyd to free up money for a Higgins extension.

Getting the coaching staff involved in the draft is great, as long as you believe these guys are going to be around for a while.

Making picks specifically for coaches that will be gone in 2 seasons is not a great idea.
It also gets guys like Greg Olsen traded and overspending for Brandon Emanualus or desperate for a Travis Kelce lite and spending a shit ton on Trey Burtons. VJJ looked like a "scheme" pick as well.

A great example of a pick made for the coaching staff was Joe Montana.

3 QB's were drafted ahead of Montana, but Walsh wanted a smart QB that could go through progressions and an arm accurate enough to get the ball to the open man.

That worked out pretty well.

Edited to add, I don't know if the current Bears staff is is worth drafting for, IF they are then draft for them. IF they are not, fire them and start over.

The point is, get the staff you want, then draft for them.

Their issue is more sure guaranteed money. You have to put any guaranteed money in escrow and the Bengals are not a cash rich franchise. So if you guarantee say 175m to Burrow that is a 175m that has to be put in Escrow.

Tyler Boyd doesn't solve that issue as the issue is Higgins is going to get more guaranteed money than Boyd so that is more money upfront the Bengals will have to come up with and set aside.

Why would people hate on those perfect picks? It's as if CCS Bears' fans need them to be a bad team so they can ***** and whine and elevate below average players.
Hey Spartacus, where you been bruh?

Even though this is a garbage take by you, good to see your name pop up, been a min and a half.

They won’t get the 9th pick for Fields.
You: Fields is a journeyman QB
Also You: Panthers will give up the 9th overall pick for a journeyman QB! Lololol
