Why don't you Google kids by yourself?
I couldn't care less about anyone here, but I just want to point out that it's incredibly ironic he's the one posting football talk and now you're the one derailing with unbaited attacks. Maybe if you want him to stop doing stuff like that, you should as well? Just a thought.

No chance the Texans trade #12 to move up one spot. That would be a monumental overpay.

In almost every other circumstance, I would agree with you. I agree 1000% that it would be an overpay, 1000%. However, what's unique this year is that their division rival is so close in the draft order and has the same obvious need - QB. If your organization truly only loves one of the potentially five first round QBs (boggles my mind that're up to 5 potentially now), you may be willing to overpay knowing your division rival can jump you. So instead of you having the franchise QB, instead it's your division rival and now you're facing him every year for the next decade plus. That's a tough pill to swallow if you're picking at 2, you get jumped and then don't get the QB you truly want. It's also a fast track to getting fired if that player has immediate success with the division rival and you stayed pat at 2.

Do I think it's likely? Heck no. Would I love it though if a bidding war broke out between the Texans and Colts? Absolutely. What benefits the Bears the most is that we already know Irsay wants a QB. We know that the Texans GM is entering year 3 and has shown nothing so far in the 1st two years and there were plenty of rumors he would've been fired if Demeco Ryans wanted someone else. Desperation can sometimes make people do stupid things. Hopefully the Bears are the ones benefitting from a drastic overpay from a desperate team.

Anyone know much about any of these kids? I know some about Wypler and Breeland but nobody else.

Carter Warren is interesting like the article says. He's probably a late day 3 pick at this point, because he just doesn't have a ton of great tape, but he has everything to work with. I see him going right around where Braxton Jones went or a little later. But like Jones, he has really long arms (35") and is a really good looking athlete. He has a lot more bottom half weight than Jones though, so has a really good anchor in pass pro. He has given up a lot of sacks, none in 2022 in 4 games, but 5 in 2021. His run blocking technique is apparently all over the place, but honestly haven't watched him close enough on run plays.

I don't really know those small school guys except McClendon Curtis, who I actually really like. I noticed him first last year when watching Cole Strange at UT Chattanooga with him. He's also got super long arms and is also a good looking athlete. He kinda seems like a more athletic Larry Borom, who I like a lot better at guard than tackle. Feet will get him in trouble outside on an island, but he could be coached to play OT in the NFL. Probably a 5th/6th round guy as well.

Tyler Steen doesn't do much for me. He's OK, but more of a RG than a RT to me. Looks like best case scenario is a backup lineman that gives you league average play if he ever has to see the field. But the league is full of guys like him. Also 5th/6th, though I could see him going in the 4th if he tests well.

I just hope there’s a trade. At this point there’s been so much speculation about it I’ll have the worst case of blue balls ever if it doesn’t.
The worst case of blue balls SO FAR.

Smokescreen (not that they shouldn't be doing their due diligence though).
There is one specific part of their conversation that I want to have leaked to the press.

They should ask each QB who he wants to draft them. Dont even take it into account, dont tell anyone of their answer, just let it be known that the Bears asked the QBs which teams they would want to play for most.
