Who will have the highest pick in 2024 between the Colts, Raiders, Falcons, Panthers, and the Titans?

If the Bears were to trade down to #2, what about getting Brandon Cooks?

Watching a video with Greg Gabriel and apparently the Bears have a new RB named “Hillbert.” He’s called him that at least 5 times now. ??‍♂️

I think probably the Colts. Raiders have the high end talent to be much better if McDaniels can figure out how to coach. Falcons are in a bad division and may a decent amount of games. Panthers in same division, but they are a team that potentially could be a QB away from being pretty good. Titans are very well coached and won't be that bad, maybe ever.

I like Cooks a lot, but I'd much rather have draft picks than him. Texans really missed out by not trading him last year, had much more value and they clearly weren't going anywhere.

Khalil + Herbert = Hillbert. Greg Gabriel is just a next level thinker, just like he was for NFL teams when he got fired 25 years ago.

It's so weird because I was told by many bright individuals on this board that the jaguars really fcked themselves and made terrible off season moves last year.
It’s called kicking the can down the road

If Hou offers 2 and 12, how do you say no? You gain the 12 while still having a very desired pick to trade. No other team can come close to that without moving down considerably more. Even moving to #4 takes 2 to 3 QB's off the board. If there was just one "guy" it would be prudent to trade out assuming you had just one shot, but if Hou has a must have "guy" and Poles knows other teams are looking at a few guys, it could be like manna from heaven. It would be interesting to know if he is talking to teams slightly lower down the draft about potential trades in a scenario where the Bears move to 2 or 4.
I'd feel the same with even a little bit less in #2, #33 and next year's first

Since when is Brandon Cooks a shitty WR? Even with a carousel of questionable QBs, he’s amassed 1,000 yards 6 out of the 9 seasons. The Bears leading WR last year was Cole Kmet with 544 yards. In 2021, he ranked in the top 10 at generating a step or more of separation vs. single-man coverage.

I’m not suggesting he’s the WR1 the Bears so desperately need, but he would absolutely be an upgrade to the Bears current receiving core.
