Nothing wrong with spending a lot of short term money that keeps cap flexibility for the next couple of years; let's all prepare for a lot of one and two year contracts that are easy to move on from.
Since they're #1 on the waiver wire, I could see them picking up cap casualties. It's crazy rich, but someone like Frank Clark who has a $28m hit for 2023 and is a FA in '24. There's several good, but older OL that will hit the market too they could spend on similar to Reiff, like DJ Humphries, Shaq Mason etc...

Brad Biggs said on radio people are telling him it’s “almost a historically bad free agent class”.

I’m thinking they should probably just do some short term bridge contracts to fill out the roster. This team’s resurgence is going to be mainly predicated on how this draft and subsequent ones fare.

It's not out of the realm of possibilities. I just expect the majority of the new money spent this year to be on short term contracts on players that can play next year and move on when you need to spend that money on a more important piece.

Frank Clark, yeah, you can spend money on him if you make it easy to cut in, say, year 4 of a 4 year contract. That is productive money in a premium position where underspending leads to losses.

It would be dumb of the foreskins to let Young walk. He easily has the most upside on their defense and is still only 23 years old.
On the other hand they have to make a decision about his fifth year option this off-season and he hasn't really been healthy nor productive since his rookie season.

Ima need Brad to stfu
I'd take our position this year over Jacksonville's spot last year. If you're willing to spend, you can still find creative ways to improve the team but if there's no demand for the 1st overall pick you're stuck picking somebody who might not be worth the spot

So you lock up your own guys and keep your guaranteed commitments for next season (and beyond) low. Its not rocket science, take the cap hit now and save the flexibility for later. I don't love Dre'Mont Jones for a lot of reasons, but if he wants to come on a three year, sixty million dollar deal with twenty of that guaranteed now then great.

The two late touchdowns were on the DBs NOT the coaching. The Eagles cheat when passing off coverage when there is motion in the backfield. Most teams did NOT take advantage of it. This comes down to DISCIPLINE. The Jaguars exposed this. Ironically a Andy Reid disciple's play call was used by the Chiefs later to beat the Eagles.

That play look familiar? It should. The Chiefs saw this and used it late in the game against the Eagles. The Chief ran jet sweep motion over and over in the first half baiting the Eagles. They reacted as expected. Later in the game the Chief made them pay, TWICE. Basically run jet sweep and watch the Eagle pass off the coverage, do it over and over until they are lulled by it. Then make them pay by reversing field when they are motioning the switch......touchdown.
