True. With Anderson, would you trade down past 3? Feel like Cards would take him in a heartbeat also
This is what Ryan Poles tells the Colts when Chris Ballard says the Bears should be happy with thirty-sixth, fourth and next years first.

Misdemeanor or not I’m still out.
Its four months between college football ending and the NFL draft where you just have to focus one hundred percent on your career. For the amount of money at stake its really not much to ask.

Though it was obvious he doesn't take football very seriously with how poorly conditioned he was for the playoff.

Mcshay claimed there was an incident well before this and has still provided nothing to back that. He's full of shit

There may have been. You may have people around the program telling him stuff but won’t go on the record. We just don’t know. But I kinda doubt he’s making shit up. What’s the point of that?

This report doesn't vindicate mcshay for making what was a baseless claim at the time. Maybe something will come out, but at this point mcshay made a claim with 0 evidence to support it

What evidence do you need? If people are saying shit off the record is he not supposed to mention it? Honest question. I don’t know what you expect?

To get on more tv segments/podcasts/radio hits? Idk. McShay has waffled on Bryce Young every other tv segment so what he knows becomes muddied by the constant waffling on other prospects.

Either don't say nonsense or have something to support it. Pretty simple
As someone else mentioned, if he is told something off the record he can’t share that. His career is based on people telling him things …. Can’t ruin these relationships.

Do you really think he’s a saint and this is the first mistake he’s made???

I don’t think it’s that simple.

If three coaches tell McShay he’s an asshole but don’t want to go on the record out of fear for their jobs should he ignore it?

Yes this is a hypothetical scenario. But not unrealistic either

The fact that you think its nonsense that there are character concerns around Jalen Carter the literal day that he is getting an arrest warrant issued is wild. You dont think maybe he has been misbehaving for a long time before this? That there's a pattern of this sort of behavior?

Pretty shit start to the offseason, everyone predictably getting tagged, no clear cut talent at the top of the draft. I'm 100000% down for trading back and acquiring numerous picks. All depends on what offensive line talent we get in free agency, but moving back and getting a Skoronski/Tyree Wilson and JSN is a great option.

Yeah, he is famous. So why does he wildly waffle from tv segment to tv segment about Bryce Young? He doesn't have a consistent take. One second he's too short, the next he's the mini-Mahomes. Is it really a stretch to wonder if he heard 'character' concern from one person and then ran with it like he's run from take to take on Young? Then if something comes out later, look how 'connected' he is. But if nothing comes out, it was just vague enough to let it slip through. He plays both sides on these top prospects.

Jalen carter absolutely has character concerns at this point.

Todd mcshay also didn't predict the future...or maybe he did?

Its not outside the realm of possiblity for Todd McShay to be ambivalent on Bryce Young as a prospect. Maybe he has all the traits of a mini-Mahomes but his limited frame is a deal-breaker? Even if maybe you disagree with it, is that really that unreasonable of an impression to have?

You’re comparing two wildly different things.
