Think the draft is gonna go QB QB QB and QB. Very good for the bears. And love it if the lions stick with goff as their QB. Keep playing the mid QB. Bears are going to feast.
Arizona has a huge need at pass rusher and an impetus to win now while they are shackled to Kyler Murray and that contract. I think they would take a trade down if a great offer is presented, but ultimately they are going to hang at third overall and draft Will Anderson Jr..

Will Fuller is a really good WR that just can't stay healthy.
He’s really good at stretching the field when healthy, yes. That’s what I see Hyatt providing an offense, someone to stretch the defense vertically

If that’s really good, then sure. I just don’t see Hyatt as anything more than that, though. His ceiling is #2 type production, and I’d say he’s more likely a #3 type guy

"This free agent class looks really bad. Hmmm...maybe I should give away my second pick?"

This GM is a fucking hopeless moron. Sad for the Bears, thank god we get to watch Arlington Heights unravel before the incompentence of the McCaskey family and their "stadium nerd" team president.
I heard Detroit needs fans. You should apply because you suck as a Bears fan.

True. But I'm thinking Seattle will jump from 5 to 3 to make sure to get Richardson. Arizona will still get Anderson at 5. So it will go bears trade to Texans young, bears trade to colts for stroud, cardinals trade to Seahawks for Richardson bears trade to Panthers for Levis.

Darnell Washington would look great in a bears uniform still IMO
I'm here with you all the way.

He isn't the perfect prospect out of the gate, but he is an aggressive player with and without the ball. I'd be excited to see him drafted with the second rounder from Baltimore.

In this scenario it would be up to the Bears to make sure Seattle knows that the Bears can offer them a better deal than Arizona for fourth overall and that they can still get their quarterback they want without spending as much.

Also I don't think Anthony Richardson is making it past second overall.

This is a very good TE class. Washington is a physical freak, but he doesn't do anything that Kmet hasn't already done at the NFL level.

He's an inline blocking TE. If anything bears should be looking at Luke Musgrave and Dalton Kincaid. Those are the two Flex/slot guys at the top rounds.

Maybe if they pick up twelfth and second in a dramatic overpay from the Texans.

I don't see how on earth the Bears could pass on one of these edge rushers to draft another wide receiver. The biggest hole on the team is pass rushing and its the strongest positon (aside from maybe quarterback) in this otherwise mediocre draft class.
Well, what about with a trade down with Carolina? That would likely yield several picks in the second and third round in this year's draft. Both sides of the trenches are deep with talent; would you really be so opposed to getting a wide receiver in the first, if Poles followed it up with several picks on OL and DL on day 2?

I'm agnostic on positional value this year. If Poles secures a big haul with a trade down, this team has enough holes that third round picks are going to compete to start in some positions.

Washington does what Kmet does and more and does it all better than Kmet

I’d be fine with the bears drafting Washington and either adjusting the offense to fitting two traditional TE types, or trading Kmet for draft capital if you truly can’t use both of them(which you can)

Okay, except one of them was a top 10 NFL TE in fantasy last year and is already on the bears.

Inline TE is one of the hardest positions to develop in the nfl and takes the most time.

The hate kmet gets on here is astonishing. He's finally catching TE's so lets replace him wtih a college TE who only caught 3.

Not saying Washington isnt or cant be a good NFL player, but you'd literally be replacing Kmet with the same type of player.

Personally, I probably would too. But I suspect we aren’t like many GM’s lol

He’s not a highlight real QB… but he just finds the open guy and hits him in stride. If I was Poles and we didn’t have Fields I would have announced the damn pick already. I absolutely love his game and think he has top 10 QB written all over him.

(Of course now I’ve probably cursed the poor kid)

Similar thought process I have with some of these wideouts. I see no reason to draft some of them when Mooney has the same skillset.

Give me someone who can blow teams up in the slot and I'll be happy.

Lol @ using fantasy numbers at the TE position to back up a players worth

Secondly, as I stated already, you can absolutely tailor an offense to use both of them. This isn’t that hard

This may seem like a Madden fantasy, but imagine if Texans fall in love with Young. Have to have him. Trade 2 and 12 for 1 (Yes its a huge overpayment, but we can dream right?). Then trade 2 to 4 to the Colts for 2023 1st, 2023 2nd, 2024 1st and 2024 2nd. Then trade from 4 to 9 for 2023 1st, 2023 1st, and their 2 2nds in 2023. Bears would have 9, 12, 39, 53, and 61. 9 go JSN, 12 go Paris, 39 go Washington, 53 go Darnell Wright, and 61 go Schmitz. Imagine that. And why would I go all offense? Because we are trying to see if Fields is the right QB. I think he is, but what if he fails next year? Now you have an upcoming offense with 3 first round picks in 2024 that you can trade up for Williams or Maye. If Fields is the truth, then now you have 3 1st that you can take Harrison AND Browers. I can dream......
