There are people actually talking about Richardson going #1. Now these are of course just media people but we don't know what GM's are thinking. People are really freaking out over what he did at the combine. I'm more with how you feel about him, maybe a little higher on him than you are.I cant imagine anyone really thinks Richardson is worth taking #1 overall. He's a lottery ticket. Honestly he shouldn't be a first rounder based off play, but his measurables and hopes of what he can be will put him top 10
Right? I'd have no bad feeling about Floyd coming back to where it all started, but I'd rather Robinson take someone else's money.
couldnt be happier the bears chose not to give him his money
Some already had D.Washington going end of the 1st round and that was before he killed the combine so would be hard to get JSN or Flowers and Washington.Well at 9, I think WR might just be the most productive play if JSN is the guy. Follow that up with picks in the trenches on day 2 to fill out the roster with talent that can protect Fields, and this team goes from "Fields can surprise you by putting up 30+ points" to "The Bears are a threat to go an entire game without punting."
But any WR that improves this team next year will do so from the slot. And I would really like to follow that up with a pick to Darnell Washington. Putting the tallest TE next to the shiftiest WR would be a nightmare to cover completely.
Always liked Floyd but he will not be cheap in a weak Edge market.Right? I'd have no bad feeling about Floyd coming back to where it all started, but I'd rather Robinson take someone else's money.
I'm really high on Zay. I'm JSN, Zay, Addison. Would like to get R.Rice, X.Hutchinson or J.Reed in the mid rounds. The problem with Zay is he has NO floor. None. He is either a blazing comet or a hunk of dead iron. He is too hit or miss for me. So, I get it, but I’d rather have a big slot like Xavier Hutchinson or Mingo, who tested very well.

Wait a minute, if Miami got 3 1st and a 3rd for the 3rd best quarterback in the draft, and you're saying that trade is the floor (which I agree with) why are you then saying that Carolina giving up 3 1st and a 2nd as unlikely? If Carolina is giving up three first, I would judge it unlikely that they are also giving up any seconds this year. Getting solid players in the second round are what makes up for not having future first rounders.
Just consider the difference of SF's trade to get lance. While the scenario is different (third best QB instead of first, and moved from 12 to 3) the compensation should be held next to that to establish a floor.
Three firsts and a third, mirroring that trade, is a floor to consider.
Maybe, I dont know what to think of mock drafts made by fans and entertaining broadcasters, but I think that his game tape says that he should be something like #50 overall. Aside from one really nice catch, I dont think Washington did anything that was unexpected. He looked exactly like the kind of prospect that he showed on tape (which, to me, is a major point in his favor). Some already had D.Washington going end of the 1st round and that was before he killed the combine so would be hard to get JSN or Flowers and Washington.
Exactly. These teams aren’t paying to move up, they’re competing with each other and have to pay Poles to not take more. There’s a QB tax, an Anderson tax, and a you’re not the only one who wants it tax.Wait a minute, if Miami got 3 1st and a 3rd for the 3rd best quarterback in the draft, and you're saying that trade is the floor (which I agree with) why are you then saying that Carolina giving up 3 1st and a 2nd as unlikely?
There’s no reason that can’t be done by Bijan and Kmet. Just sayin’!Maybe, I dont know what to think of mock drafts made by fans and entertaining broadcasters, but I think that his game tape says that he should be something like #50 overall. I'll continue to dream of JSN running a stick/out from the slot with Washington running a late slant behind him. In this dream, the two of them can beat any coverage combination, and forces teams to give them the attention that opens Claypool or Mooney to win a 1-on-1 on a deep pass.
Three firsts and both 2s this year is far steeper a price to offer. I dont think it is an unreasonable demand, I think it is the kind of trade that would make Carolina wilt and say no-thank-youWait a minute, if Miami got 3 1st and a 3rd for the 3rd best quarterback in the draft, and you're saying that trade is the floor (which I agree with) why are you then saying that Carolina giving up 3 1st and a 2nd as unlikely?
I wouldnt hate Bijan at 9, but JSN running the split-out in the slot is something we all know is a competitive play in week 1. Bijan is a good receiver as a running back, he is not the best receiver in the draft. There’s no reason that can’t be done by Bijan and Kmet. Just sayin’!
Well, you didn't say both 2nds. You said 3 1st's and a 2ndThree firsts and both 2s this year is far steeper a price to offer. I dont think it is an unreasonable demand, I think it is the kind of trade that would make Carolina wilt and say no-thank-you
