How is $100 million guaranteed then $70 million fully guaranteed? What is the meaning of the word guaranteed?

60m is guaranteed at signing. 10m is guaranteed for injury at signing and then becomes fully guaranteed after. Finally his 30m salary in 2025 becomes fully guaranteed early in the 2025 season so that is where the 100m comes from.

Orlando Brown seems like a good fit. Will he be expensive, yes. But he's young and in 3 or 4 years his contact won't seem as bad. Move Jones to the right side, and draft two more interior lineman and we have a solid Oline. If not I see Mike Mc Glinchey being a good fit for the right side.

He’s a terrible fit. He’s a giant fat sloth in a scheme that requires athleticism and mobility.

No that is 28.5m and again you were wrong. I was pointing out to the poster that the full 60m was not due at signing and you were trying to play gotcha and failed miserably. No real point in pretending otherwsie.
HA!!!! I have seen you back track and vortex much worse, witness your dumbass thinking Fields had anything to do with my posts about Carolina and Tennessee.....

Okay. I finally got to all three of the Bears picks in this mock draft.
1.) Paris Johnson
2.) Bijan Robinson
3.) Tuli TUIPULOTU!

Yes. Yes.

If we get this haul. Holy shit.

So he counts 9 million against the cap? That puts NO close to $30 million over the cap. Presumably they'll be cutting Michael Thomas. I'd expect it to limit their ability to bring back guys like onyemata and davenport too

They will most likely convert some base salaries into SB to push some money out into future years along with a few cuts and trades.

Yes and the difference is when you pointed it out I corrected myself and said I meant a rookie QB. Not sure why you felt the need to lie here.

A fat sloth that's made the Pro bowl for the last 4 of 5 yrs, allowed only 3 sacks last year, and shut down a Eagle pass rush in the Super Bowl. He's better than anyone on our line by miles.

I don't see the Bears signing any of the big names. They are going to sign younger players with upside. Hopefully those younger players develop and by the time they're ready to rock, the team should be closer. Signing older/expensive vets makes no sense at this pt.

Don’t think anyone is doubting his achievements. People are just doubting whether or not he fits in the Bears scheme.

I see your argument, but he also played in Baltimore who has a similar offense and players with his talent are easier to fit into a scheme. The Poles connection is key, Poles knows what kind of player he is and isn't.

**** your scheme, get good players instead
They started a guard rotation cause Jenkins didn’t fit the scheme so it’s a legit topic to consider with a guy that turned down 90 mil guaranteed last year
