I don't see the Bears signing any of the big names. They are going to sign younger players with upside. Hopefully those younger players develop and by the time they're ready to rock, the team should be closer. Signing older/expensive vets makes no sense at this pt.

I see your argument, but he also played in Baltimore who has a similar offense and players with his talent are easier to fit into a scheme. The Poles connection is key, Poles knows what kind of player he is and isn't.

3 major types of garauntees for NFL contracts: garaunteed for injury and garaunteed for skill and garaunteed for cap purposes. "Fully garaunteed" means all 3 whereas just "garaunteed" only has 1 or 2.
