Depends on how our scouts grade the prospects. If our scouts are saying will Anderson is the next Lawrence Taylor, I'll stay at 1 and just take him. But if they say hes going to be a pro bowlers, not all pro, I'll probably take that deal.
Poles has said himself that they need to take as many swings as possible.

That doesn’t make sense. Keeping Jones at LT and have Paris at RT makes way more sense
Paris played RG for a year so we know he can at least switch sides. Think Jones has always been LT… but could be wrong

You would rather sit at 1 and 1 pick in the top 50, then gain a 2nd this year and an extra first the next two years???? Come on.
I’d find another trade partner

He's a better receiver and probably a little faster than Monty IMO.
4.62 vs 4.63 in the 40, with 10-yard splits also 0.01 off in favor of Hunt. Montgomery's most frequent comp was Hunt. I think the reason why Hunt is the better receiver is because Hunt has been used more as a receiver. I think Montgomery is every bit as good a receiver, it's just that the Bears really suck at using him that way, now in 2 different regimes.

You don't catch that scramble route down the right sidelines from Fields last year or the 4th down throw from Foles in the Tampa Bay Thursday night game if you aren't a really good receiver.

Poles has said that Braxton could move to RT. If the Bears added PJJ, you let them all compete and let the coaching staff figure out the best spots for each player.

Yeah I think we need to draft a LT somewhere between rounds 1-3. Jones leaves a lot to be desired in pass protect. Too many times he ends up in Justin's lap. SMH

Been pounding for Paris and shifting Braxton to rt. If we get 2 and 12 from Texans. Big if. Than Paris and jsn is my dream outcome.
I mean, I guess there is a scenario where the Bears trade down far enough and a tackle is by far the best player on the board, but I think there's less than a 5% chance that anyone other than Braxton Jones is the LT next year. It's almost not even worth thinking about.

Or Jones can be a backup. Who cares, but I don't like his current pass protect skills as a starter on the left side.

I get that they have other holes to fill, but he's not the long term solution. Sorry but that's a reality at the moment. Maybe he proves me wrong this year.
Edit: also I said grab an LT between rounds 1-3. Jones needs competition period

Yeah, you can think that, but the people in charge don't think that. He didn't even have competition last year and he was a 5th round pick from FCS. Soon as they drafted him, they moved Borom and Jenkins to RT before camp even started. And they didn't add Reiff until right before camp.

If he wasn't given competition last year, started all 16 games, and got better as the season went on....he isn't going to get competition this year.

Lol that wasn't the question. If that was your only option you take it without thinking imo.
Well good thing that question isn’t based in reality
