It’s entirely a projection used to help determine how players MIGHT fit. I’m sure we could find many players with high RAS scores that simply didn’t make it in the NFL, and some players with decent RAS scores that are good pros.

If a guy has 4 years in the league just throw the RAS out and see how he was with the 4 fckn years of tape the guy has from playing in the NFL.

Look at that RAS tho!!!

The fact it doesnt actually predict NFL success is precisely why it isnt a projection. All it does is take NFL combine and pro day results and turn it into a number 1-10. It measures athleticism. It does not predict future NFL success.

I would presume most fans dont watch film so RAS is just a quick way of measuring athleticism. Like how much tape have you personally watched of McGary?

It is completely stupid and lazy. These guys could be in entirely different shape now vs. four years ago. But honestly who can be expected to really follow the Atlanta Falcons well enough to really know what's going on with Kaleb McGary? We're all just guessing. Nobody watches that garbage team enough to really be able to pick up on what they have going on at right tackle.
I watched every Falcons game this past year, my nephew plays for the team.

McGary is solid, not great. Good run blocker, not a great pass blocker, but a huge improvement for the Bears.

Gonna drop my sleeper RT here.

Trey Pipkins III. (Chargers)

Wouldn’t cost a fortune and if a better option comes along in the draft he goes to swing.

So rank which of these RT's you'd want first to last.

Season starts in September. No way he’ll be ready and OL typically take longer to recover than players lighter and more athletic. Would be a huge gamble. One I would not take
we're getting extra picks via trade down or a trade up at some point. and we still have FA coming up.

Zach Alen is my favorite DL for the Bears, in terms of a 3-4 year deal.

Kaden Elliss also a nice low profile signing.
We don't get much talk of Z.Allen on here but i'm here for it. Don't know anything about K.Elliss
