Dawand Jones probably isn't making it to the 2nd round. He's also not a fit for the Bears offense.
I watched him day one at the Senior Bowl and quite a bit during last season. He moves incredibly well for the biggest human I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure he’s athletic enough to play outside zone. The guy is an absolute stud.

that's the thing, you always have to add that caveat. The Bears don't want guys who move well for their size. They want guys that move well, period. 5.35 and 1.92 10-yard split isn't moving that well. Obviously, he moves much better on the field than on the track, but nothing the Bears have done or said since Poles took over says they are going to be interested in Dawand Jones. He's about 45-50lbs bigger than any OL they've brought in.

Seeing this a lot actually. The Athletic had a mock with him at 9 today.

It’s just people connecting the dots between Fields and JSN. No clue if the Bears have him that high or not.
Yeah, I'm torn. I'd love JSN on the Bears, but top 10 is rich for me. He may very well be the best WR in this draft, but his value is much more around the 20th pick than the 10th. He's compares favorably to Amon-Ra, who went in the 3rd. Granted, he's probably a little more agile, but I think in a normal year he's a 2nd round talent.

Love Jones. I’ve said before here I think he’s a great fit. Maybe even more than Paris. That’s an OT with the athleticism Poles wants.
Been reading several teams believe he will be moved inside, that he could be the next Zach Martin(another RT that moved inside).

He’s an excellent football player and would form an incredibly nasty right side for the Bears o-line in tandem with Jenkins. I question a system or methodology that eliminates picking this guy.

I’ve been a little slow getting on board the JSN train but 5:26 helped me. It’s even better in the replay around 5:55.

Albert Breer believes the Panthers will trade up for a QB
Details: Breer “wholeheartedly” believes that Carolina will move up from pick No. 9 to secure one of the draft’s top quarterbacks.

Interesting: Breer thinks the Panthers are likelier to trade for the Cardinals’ No. 3 pick than the Bears’ No. 1 pick.
  • If Bryce Love and C.J. Stroud go with the top two picks, that would leave the Panthers choosing between Will Levis and Anthony Richardson.

Jets “on the brink” of landing Aaron Rodgers
Details: According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Jets believe they are on the brink of landing Aaron Rodgers. The team is finalizing compensation and contract details.

Interesting: Russini’s colleague Rich Cimini predicts the trade will cost the Jets their 2023 second rounder (pick No. 43) and a conditional 2024 third rounder tied to individual/team performance.
  • Cimini does not think the Jets will have to part with their 2023 first-round pick (No. 13).
Similar: Albert Breer is predicting a similar compensation package, featuring the 2023 second-rounder and a conditional 2025 pick.
  • The conditional pick would be tied to Rodgers’ performance and whether he plays in 2024.
First Round: If the Jets can hold on to the first-rounder, it can be used to boost Rodgers’ offensive line or receiving corps. Teaming OROY Garrett Wilson with a top receiver prospect like Jaxon Smith-Njigba could prove tempting.

Would probably mean the Bears trade with Indy then and three QBs go 1,2,3.

If the Bears walk out of the draft with Anderson at 4 AND an extra 1st next year I’m gonna need some new towels.
