Wouldn’t hate it at all if Getsy knows how to use him
I would hate this haha. Its easy to find production from the RB position at any point in the draft. Factor in the fact that RBs are worth a 2nd contract usually and it's a premier draft pick for a short term investment.

If they Bears were geared up for a SB, sure, it might be an OK pick.

His natural spot is slot, right? Makes a whole lot of sense with Mooney and Claypool already manning the spots outside. If JSN is even as good as Amon-Ra St. Brown it's a pick well spent. But as he notes, JSN is more athletic with a better pedigree. Add that Fields loves the kid and played with him, it almost seems like a no-brainer. I remember hearing last year how he was the best receiver on a team that turned out WRs that went 10th and 11th overall.

I wouldn't pay much attention to where the draftniks are putting him. They have some egregious errors compared to reality every single year.
I know fans fall in love with prospects and want them on their team. JSN is definitely worthy of falling in love with. But value has to be considered at some point. There's a reason why slot WRs like St. Brown and Cooper Kupp are picked in the 3rd and 4th rounds. There's also a reason why slot only guys don't typically go top 10. It's just not a high value position to be a slot only guy. Granted, maybe JSN can play outside and be a true X WR (I think he can play outside), but it's far from a no-brainer. This is drafting for need, and while it may work out, JSN isn't the only WR from this class that's going to be good. He may even be the best WR, but that doesn't mean another WR can't be good as well. Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle are no Jamarr Chase, but still damn good WRs. The 2nd best DE + the 5th best WR may be better than the best WR + whatever the Bears get by waiting til the 2nd.

It was a brillaint move to acquire him and I am glad they all got their rings because it was deserved, but this dude's career is fully over and everyone knows it.

I really think the Rams are very strong players for first overall once they start making the flurry of moves that are coming. I know nocogneto hates the idea, but when they get sixth overall for Jalen Ramsey it makes them by far the most attractive trade partner in terms of future picks.
I don't hate the idea of trading for Ramsey, but if you think it would cost the #6 overall pick you are delusional.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
So the Bears hope to draft a WR in the first round, that compares to Amon St. Brown, who was drafted in the 4th.
Not actually sure that the Bears are hoping for that, but if St. Brown was the know quantity he is now, he would have gone in the first.

Meh, Snyder would probably threaten to expose the NFL on the collusion, trying to retain ownership. that is kind of his MO.

Nothing to do with my point.
The thing is it helps set a precedent for players that the rest of the owners don't want to deal with. I assumed that would be pretty clear. And he hates the other owners more than he gives a shit about whoever buys the team.
Think you misunderstand. I am saying it would not sabotage all the owners. I think it helps the next owner but screws the other owners.
