I'm not the one calling it a 1st round pick. I'm on record as not valuing picks by round and prefer doing so by sequence. This is a shallow draft for top players so it has less value than other years. It's not a shallow draft overall but somewhat weak in top tier prospects. These are things GMs see when going into trades like this while fans say things like he gave up a 1st when they did not. I have no idea if this is a good trade but to damn Poles this early is more self gratification than anything else.
