The cap can always be manipulated and the Browns can push more of Watson's contract out, but they're currently $15M over the cap and have pushed a ton of salary into 2024 already. Paying Dre'mont Jones will be challenging, and put the Browns in a difficult cap position for the next few years

It works because Garrett getting traded to the Bears and Jones signed by the Bears.

They cannot afford all four of these defensive linemen. They have to pick between Montez Sweat and Chase Young.

Or they just use their entire cap on defensive line, which would be kinda cool but probably not a smart idea.

Sure. The point I'm making here is that in the medium and long-term there is an odd man out of these four unless Washington is willing to invest a huge amount of their cap in one positional unit.
