At the end of the day nobody since 2000 has been better. Only a couple are even remotely close. You can't really say Bill Belichick was overrated or sucked or carried by Tom Brady or any of these other things because the only way you judge the job coaches (and players) do is relative to their peers. On that metric he is in a complete class of his own.

Not to take anything away from Andy Reid, Pete Carroll, Tom Coughlin, Mike Tomlin or Sean Payton...but Belichick alone has accomplished almost as much as them culmulatively.
The theoretical question imo is........what would NE's SB history be IF Drew Bledsow hadn't went down, with internal bleeding, and rushed to a hospital, from a hit in a Jets game? Would Brady have ever seen the field in 2021 and win the SB? Would NE have beaten The Rams with Bledsow, or even been to the SB? Same with Barry Mintor going down with an injury, and Da Bears having to put in that rookie named Urlacher at Middle Linebacker. injuries can sure have a way of working out sometimes.

Not sure if a mountain lion killing Jay Cutler before he blasts it to death would be considered "murder" FYI
Fair point but when he says "by anything capable" that would include humans which would indeed be murder. At any point, do we really need to wish a human being to die because they hunt animals? Are we valuing the life of mountain lions the same as humans?

I like animals more than a good amount of humans.

k let's just agree that a Mt. Lion has the right to self defense if it's staring down the barrel of Jay Cutler's bazooka.

Absolutely. Doesn't mean we should root for humans to be killed. But I do feel like this is more a stab at Jay Cutler the person for being a bad QB than it is just any random hunter shooting down a random deer in the woods. So whatever..
