Warren is most impressed with the Bears organization's ability to handle adversity and crisis and believes that these moments of adversity defines someone's character. I agree with his general premise about resiliency through adversity is a true measure of character...

HOWEVER -

What he fails to mention is that the Bears staff created, or at least their choices and actions were the catalyst of, the adversity and crisis. If you create chaos only to thrive in it, that's NOT a desired characteristic imo
Kinda like dropping 40 pounds after eating 4 deep dish pizzas a day for 20 years.

Reading between the lines I think key for Warren was how they overcame the early season troubles. Admidst a 14 game losing streak and having 2 coaches leave under questionable circumstances it would have been easy for this season to spiral out of control. Yet they were able to turn things around to the point of being 3 last minute collapses away from being a playoff team.

Yes someone might look at the early struggles and late game collapses as grounds for wiping the slate clean but Warren clearly saw the fact the team disnt fall apart and improved as building to a better future.
