I agree the Brady hype has been insane....I do get Purdy vibes, but he has to develop more consistency and process defenses he sees....in time. I hope he is #3 on roster
I’m getting huge Mitch trubisky vibes, personally.

For him being an UDFA, that ain’t half bad. Just goes to show you how freaking big of a bust Trubisky is. Makes me want an old fashioned. I’m literally ordering insta cart now to get an orange delivered here to make one.

Don't know how anyone could be down on the kid. Looks like a find.

Also looks like a rookie.
He is what I want out of a rookie QB. He needs to be decisive and not freeze up when the pressure comes. Live with mistakes.

Even if he is only a backup QB, he is the kind of backup you want to invest time and effort into developing. He isnt slow, so it isnt like the playbook changes too much if he has to sub in.

I like what I have seen from Bagent as a backup developmental QB but will ? make fun of the neanderthals who say he's QB1 especially when he throws an INT directly between the defenders numbers.

It’s been nothing but children reporting each other today. And I just had to cancel my round of golf because the babysitter canceled. So I’m dealing with 2 different sets of children. It’s the GDT. It’s always inflammatory
I'm just making sure @BaBaBlacksheep is earning his mod paycheck. Isn't it supposed to be your day off?

When our local CW channel was 57.1 it was always on there, now my 57 channels are mostly TV show repeats. Then it hopped to CBS for a few years, then now to NBC.
I bought a stream service for the year for $150.....its gives everything..so I have Fox channel in Davenport showing game. Oh and yes wverything...even porn when I need to knock one out for my me time lol

The accuracy on that pass from Bagent Orange was impressive. The ball hit the wide open defender right between the 4 & 6 with no Bears players within 5 yards.

!!!woah!!!

Bagent looks like a keeper. PJ can fuck off into the sun, so can Peter Pan. Get a qb 3 at cutdowns.

I don’t know what his ceiling is, but he looks as good if not better than most of the quarterbacks that were drafted.

4 of 10 for 18 yards --- average of 1.8 yards per attempt --- RTG of 8.3?

I posted earlier this week about how it was premature to anoint him Q2 after such a limited sample size.... and I got blasted.

I take no joy in seeing him come back to earth today. I still think the guy is worth keeping and developing. We just have to cool our jets about pushing Bagent into the Q2 role too quickly. He is a rook who needs time....

Despite today, I do think he is worth developing.

Which he would be imo...but something us Bears fans are not use too, is he can sit on sidelines, learn and develop. Imagine if Fields becomes that guy and Bagent becomes very good behind him. Could be trade bait for a later #1 pick or high 2nd and 4th....or Fields just stay slightly above avg and peaks, he develops into a better QB, trade Fields.

Obviously we are talking like 2 or 3 yrs from now
