Since entering the NFL in 2018, Smith has the most negatively graded snaps among off-ball linebackers but also the sixth-most positively graded snaps. He’s displayed the special athletic ability that made him the No. 8 overall pick, a plus in coverage with rare sideline-to-sideline speed, but he can get washed out of plays far too easily.

Pretty much explains Smith in a nutshell. Feast or famine.
Any info on what situations are positive and what negative? Looking for percentage pass vs run in each scenario.

You know, Mitch, though not being the greatest QB, always seemed like a likeable and stand-up dude. He's had adversity, but still cheers on others. Tough to root against the dude as a person.
he was great until Nagy ruined him. like Cutler he was put into some unimaginably ridiculous situations, notably the giraffe his rookie year, then Nagy wanting him to be a quarterback entirely against his identity. by 2020 I labeled him damaged goods. but hey, NVP... in a pathetic losing effort after aggressively backing into the playoffs because the NFL want to keep changing shit for money. thanks Roger Goodell.

What an incredibly stupid article. Quan was saying he was shocked he was traded at the trade deadline. Yes he requested a trade in the offseason but when that did not happen he had committed to playing out this year and was not expecting to be traded at the trade deadline. Holy shit, not that complicated.

First of all you do know about Sportsmockery correct? Second of all it isn't that stupid. He did hold out for more money twice and did publicly request a trade and kinda whined about it. Glad he thanked Chicago though.. LOL

Yes and when that did not happen he said he would play out the year. So nothing he did contradicts his claim of being shocked by the trade. Many Bears fans didn't think we would be able to pull off a trade either.
