My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears

It’s funny how great QB play sways public perception about an entire organization. Fans knew it was a developmental rebuild year but the media kept trashing them despite tearing down the team, trading highly paid vets, and having by far the cheapest roster in the NFL. Imagine being the Raiders, spending a fortune and having less wins than us. That’s NFL hell.

Saying that Fields "can't throw" is just wrong. It's fair to say that you want to see more passing from the pocket. It's also fair to say that you hope there will be a lot more of that NEXT season, when more resources have been spent on the offense.

The fact of the matter is, you're not seeing as much of that right now, because it's really hard to keep him protected while doing that. It's not because he's not good at it. It's not because of Getsy or Fields. It's because of the coaching staff's confidence in the oline.

I didnt care for him much after the draft but i did want mac jones because i figured fields wouldn't be available at the bears original pick

shame me
This is more so after those that couldn’t see thru his bullshit rookie season and after it became apparent that he couldn’t throw more than 5 yards down the field

ok

i see they give jobs to blithering idiots just because they played football. hes a stuttering moron.
Exactly. Talk about the concept of manufacturing a narrative! Since when can’t Justin Fields throw the ball? He was known for being a big armed, precise passing QB. Nobody even knew he could run.

This is such bullshit. **** that noise, and **** him!

People knew he could run, just that he didn't rely on it.

You guys (speaking broadly here now) do realize this type of stuff is scripted, right? Get someone out there to say shit to get people riled up. It grabs attention, which is what they're paid to do.

After years of Coach killers at the QB position, Bears have a QB that is a coach maker

Eagles are getting poached this year, I bet. Steichen and Gannon would be top 3 candidates on paper if I were a GM. My other guy is DeMeco Ryans. Met him when he was a player for the Texans. Just an all around good dude, and you knew he had a coaching future when he played. Shane Waldron is probably right there as well as my 4th guy.

A solid number of black candidates on that list. Thomas Brown, Evero, Ryan, Chris Horton, Pat Graham, Leftwich and Mayo. Interested to see how many get jobs this cycle.
