poles was just asked if jenkins should be worried about being traded and he said he’s proud of him after a talk they had and “it’s good for us to have tevin at guard *right now*”

Could have just said no. This shit is annoying and does make you wonder about the back

-i just realized im probably way behind on this news. SO so sorry…
I sorta think they are tryna keep that fire they lit under his ass going

But also, this regime sorta has that vibe that nobody should get too comfortable

My biggest concern with the Bears in the offseason was OL, and I'm starting to feel confident with the starters and even the depth behind them. Obviously because of Patrick's injury they still have work to do as a unit, but it's obvious the talent is there and the line is improving with reps.

Relative Athletic Scores (RAS):

STARTERS
Braxton Jones - 8.44
Cody Whitehair - 7.99
Lucas Patrick - 9.30
Teven Jenkins - 9.74
Larry Borom - 8.65

BACKUPS
Riley Reiff - 5.91
J'Atyre Carter - 6.31
Sam Mustipher - 0.85
Alex Leatherwood - 9.69

PRACTICE SQUAD
Kellen Diesch - 9.75
Lachavious Simmons - n/a
Dieter Eiselen - n/a

INJURED RESERVE
Doug Kramer - 8.47

Projecting out a year, we may see Doug Kramer replace Mustipher as backup at C. Carter, Diesch and Leatherwood can challenge at G and T.

Poles had one established starter in Whitehair when he took over. That's a crazy overhaul in one offseason, not just plugging in starters but establishing a cycle of development into the future.

I'm excited to see how they perform against SF in week one. Crazy test to start the year, but it could be a huge confidence builder for the whole offense.
I mean, we won 6 games last year and lost a few very close games. With Matt Nagy as head coach, really bad o-line, receivers giving up, etc. If we could do that with what we had, we definitely can win this year too.

But I hear you. Just can’t wait for the season to start.

I see his name and skim or skip. Dude is unhinged and biased as hell. And acts like the smartest man in the room constantly. Buh bye.

Another overrated bear btw. Not hof. Not even close. So, sorry, alex brown and others that apparently think so.

Tillman isn’t hof either. Peanut punch and fumbles. Great. But what about the games there are no fumbles and you get burned all day long bc it’s not calvin johnson and it’s steve smith or someone else? Can remember like yesterday all the fans online bitching about olin or tillman’s play.

Great bears players. Hof? No.

And johnny knox…another overrated player. Sick injury. Sucks. Doesn’t mean he was a great player or on the verge of becoming one. He was just a standout on a bears team that couldn’t find shit at WR.

I’ve been without internet for 8 hours bc of some outage. Literally can’t do shit. So here i am looking for some meatball down votes on ccs

Thx in advance
I watch Olin on that show with Alex Brown and Briggs. When he talks football, he makes great points. Great insiside info on how players think. Coaches too.

But when it comes to individual players, dude is a total meatball. Gets completely blinded by loyalty imo

How many oline does this team need to stash? I do love that this new regime actually cares about it though. Completely confident they will have a top 5 oline within 3 years.
As many as they can! It all starts from the line on both sides.

My favorite teams
  1. Pittsburgh Pirates
  1. Philadelphia 76ers
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Pittsburgh Penguins
Quentin Johnson at WR who is a 6-4 with speed and hops and Ali and Avila on the OL for TCU.

RJ Snead at WR and Terrance Lang who plays DE but at 6-7 ad 290 likely moves inside and plays 3T in our D.
Thanks for the names.

Nobody should be that secure. Everyone on the roster is tradeable depending on return.

I guess that means the 49ers will be shocked after the game!!!!!
Did everyone forget these two teams played last year? Everyone keeps hyping up the Niners as this mad mysterious team the Bears never play. Fields had 275 yards and 2 TDs, total as 100 yards was him rushing, against this same team last year.
