Anytime someone opens with “xyz team buddy” I automatically think of all the “Bears buddies” I have that are freaking morons…. And realize “xyz team buddy” likely is the same.

(My apologies if your buddy is actually NOT a moron, it’s a general comment)
He’s no meatball but he doesn’t believe me when I tell him that the Vikings are incredibly lucky to be 10-2. Bradbury seems to get a lot of criticism on the Vikings board(not as much as Mustipher here though).

So...........

Lions currently are:

8th in passing yards per game
7th in total yards per game
7th in QBR
6th in points per game.
And have the second fewest sacks

so tell me Remy, just who is responsible for this output?
And still will never come close to a SB victory with Jared Goff. It’s a golden opportunity for y’all in this draft to move up and get Bryce Young if possible. I’m not sold on CJ Stroud as well but you can’t stand pat with Goff

Kinda like Stafford could never win a SB.
Be funny to see the Lions trade with Gb and get Aaron Rodgers (never happen)
And I never said Lions would not draft a QB, just not with the LA pick. they can still get a developmental Qb and sit him a year.

I am really liking JJ McCarthy's trajectory and would love to have him drafted in 2024.

* admittedly Goff is not a RB

Could be scheme, could be receivers, could be OL, could be QB, or some combination therein. Hence why they have metrics that try to isolate the impact of the QB from everyone else.

apparently Remy does, or can't you read?

"@nc0gnet0 guys these guys dont realize how great Jared Goff is."

No I dont. I responded to an individual QB metric. You posted team data which I dont give a shit about.

So he is a meatball then as Vikes have been really lucky.

Lol, and when they have a QB that might not even throw for 3,000 yards this season?
But yeah, congrats to JF!!

so passing yds per game, sacks, and QBR are no longer QB metrics....?

I don't get the burning desire on behalf of some to replace Braxton Jones. The kid has only improved a lot as the season went on, just like Fields.

Very limited sample size too so far but Leatherwood looked good at RT. How huge would it be for this team if you could pencil those guys in and maybe allocate your O-line resources to upgrading center (obviously) and maybe LG (cutting Whitehair)?

Most seem to be leaning towards keeping him. (Myself included)

I just posted Orlando Brown as he’s listed as a “top” free agent and he’s been discussed a bunch.

Not a fan of cutting Whitehair this year.

Just for reference, out of Goff's seven seasons, he's putting up his:

3rd best season by QB Rating
2nd best season by QBR
3rd best by yards per attempt
3rd best by INT%
3rd best by TD%
3rd best by completion percentage
3rd worst yards per game
3rd best sack%

So for the most part, he is what he is; a solid starting QB who's going to need to be replaced if his team wants to have a real shot at making/winning the superbowl. Luckily for Goff though, he plays for the Lions, so there's no need to worry about that.
