Carter at 3 would mean 3 straight quarterbacks or 2 and Anderson. That’s entirely possible. I’m not sure I like JSN in the first. He’s one I’m worried about. If Bijan’s off the board, maybe double down on DT and take a DE?
Yeah these hammy injuries make me think K.Toney. Love the kids talent but pretty sure he's definitely a slot receiver in the NFL so taking a slot WR with the injury history that high is tough for me.

Be careful about getting caught in outdated ideas. "Slot receivers" put up big numbers, and play nearly every down, and move around the formation, and make big plays all the time.

Which is why I think we should seriously make a play for Keenan Allen for next year. He is possibly the best slot receiver in the game and would be a perfect complement to the type of receiver we need. Putting him, possibly the best and savviest route runner in the game with VJJ, Claypool, and whatever rookies we draft would be amazing. Make it happen Poles!

Then not sure why you thought Lovie calling the shots in Houston. Dude only got hired because of the Flores lawsuit.
Bc a GM doesn’t have a defensive or offensive scheme, a coach does. A GM gets players that fit the teams system. And that system is headed by Lovie rn.

Did that logic really need to be pointed out?

Does it need to be pointed out that Lovie isnt secure as Texans really want McCown as HC. So I doubt they draft based on Lovie's D when Lovie could be fired as early as this offseason.

And that’s exactly why I said “if Lovie is still there…” in my original comment

Lol
