Perfect example of the NFL being rigged.

Don't really need anyone to agree with me, just doing you guys a favor by trying to pry open your closed minds to an alternate viewpoint.

I got permission from a CCS "Hall of Famer" to disagree with the consensus, but I'm still a fucking idiot cause he said so.
Are you referring to me or another esteemed member of the CC HoF? Because I never called you an idiot, just simply pointed out what the consensus feeling on the board was

Was there ever an update on Mooney injury? Did it require surgery? Will he be fine to start next season?
Last I heard he was going to have surgery and the prognosis was he should be good between spring and early summer. So, maybe miss out on some OTAs, but should be good for camp barring any setbacks.

Sanborn looks like a good starter, not just some guy who's filling in for Roquan Smith until next year. Dayum. Helps make up for the Velus Jones pick on the draft scorecard I suppose.

This should reaffirm for a few the immediate need to pour a ton of resources into the OL.

Us Bears fans have been conditioned to mistake mediocrity for very good when it comes to the OL.

I pointed out how Jones seems to get abused on pass sets and how I’m not sold on him.

Trust your eyes. He has done very well for being a 5th round pick. Great. But on those passing plays, he struggles in pass pro. The whole OL does. If Fields wasn’t such an amazing athlete, those sack numbers would be a lot higher.

If he starts, fine. Make him earn it with real competition. Seeing him block and a prospect like Skoronski block is like night and day.

Dear lord these two are fucking idiots.
What’s so dumb about it? They seem pretty spot on and discussing allot of your thoughts on fixing the offense this offseason. Personally not a jeudy fan and not sure Higgins is available. But the offense currently constructed is a one man show it blows

Funny how you single out Jones when those numbers say he's been the best one, other than Borom who has played 1 game since October 24th.

I mean, I get it. Everyone that's not a sure fire stud should have competition for their starting spot. But I don't understand why the 5th round rookie who has improved every week is the one that people aren't sure on. I've had people arguing that Whitehair should be kept. People are talking about Jenkins being a future all pro. But Jones has been better pure blocking in his 1st NFL season, at the toughest position.

Personally I'd convince odell we will compete next year and sign him. Production has never really been an issue with him and he'll be 1.5 years removed from acl and likely able to do all offseason activities. He'd be worth the risk with all the money available and avoid trading anymore draft assets this year. Him not signing this season with anyone is a gift.

I think he fits what fields likes but not sure that guy can hold up a whole season.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Odell would definitely balk at the idea of coming here. Think he wants an established contender
