My favorite teams
?
Is this being treated as a pre-season game or more worthless gamesmanship?
Preseason week 4 without a doubt lol, the tank is on MFersIs this being treated as a pre-season game or more worthless gamesmanship?
Your better off finding one for yourselves......Do you happen to know any teams in position to get a top QB in this draft that would like to trade down and take all Detroit's picks for the next couple of years? Hmmmmmmmmm
So here we are, another one of your almost off-season "it could happen" posts. The ones that always fall flat on thier face when the season starts. The ones like "you don't know the Bears O-line will be bad, not until they play the games". How did that work out for you?
Or the "how many starters on the Bears would start on the Lions" ? Another miserable fail on your behalf.
I won't even get into the JF bullshit. 2,200 yds, GTFO
The Bears very well could get a kings ransom in a trade down, but it won't be from the Colts.
Why would you gt a "haul" if the texans traded up one spot? Here's the other reason if the Bears get the #1 pick they could get a haul. Let's say the Texans and Colts both covet Bryce Young. You have two division rivals in desperate need of a QB who desire the same guy. $$$
Don’t want their divisional rival to get the QB they covet. Honestly, best case they trade down with both. They might still get Carter at 5.Why would you gt a "haul" if the texans traded up one spot?
The question is this:For all we like to point at GB for winning "only" two Super Bowls through Favre/Rodgers, Indy has had Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck fall into their laps and has won one. And it took injuries to two of the Bears' top 3 defenders and Rex Grossman at QB to get that.
Irsay is understandably spoiled at having those two great QBs. But it's been one failure after another with these vets.
Reich wasn't the greatest, but he got screwed over because Irsay's ego took over. They then made a disastrous interim HC hire and they're no closer today than they have been in the past 5 years.
They should - and I believe will - trade a haul for a QB and start over. That will benefit them in the long run. But at this point, I don't know why they'd keep Ballard or, frankly, why he'd want to stay. (except for that small fact that there are only 32 of these GM jobs.)
They are in need now of a total reset. I wouldn't be surprised if they went after a big name coach and offered a lot of control. Irsay won't do it for just anyone. Payton likely headed elsehwere, so that leads Indy back to their ol' pal, Jim Harbaugh. Starting with a new QB may entice him to take the job.
Is this the same as Nagy running 5 verts in the red zone with 4 of those receivers being under 6feet??
Think staying w/ Goff is a mistake.
You are correct they aren't a piece away, but the lions for the next decade w/ a legit franchise qb could be scary considering the young talent they have.
I agree with stroud, not a fan, but think bryce can become a star long as he stays healthy
In all seriousness, you guys should draft Anthony Richardson. Having Goff gives you the luxury of letting him develop. He may have the highest ceiling in the draft, and only Seattle and Detroit are really in a position to draft and develop him.Won't happen. Goff has played himself into at least another year, and possibly an extension. Lions are not a "QB" away from being a serious contender, they need help on D, and have the resources to do it this year. Not to say I don't see the Lions taking a QB, but look for more of something in the 3rd rd or later. Draft looking at Dline, FA maybe a LB or CB.
First the Bears need to get the #1 pick for this to happen, and while it is possible, I still don't think the Texans will win. So, A trade up for Stroud? Not. And the cost has a lot to do with the Rams/Seahawks game, so at this point too many moving pieces to even make a serious comment.
