Dam them scrub teams....................
Vikings are a scrum team. Giants and Bills were missing several players and Bills tried to give the game away. I think it’s funny that you try to claim a victory when the scoreboard says you lost. Lol. Bears played the Eagles to a similar score loss but yet you don’t see me trying to claim a medal like you are.

We are talking about offense ala Goff. Leave it to you to try to move the goal posts.
Lions currently have the #5 rated offense in the league, and that is an undeniable fact. While playing a top 10 SOS.

And only 1game that Goff won was on the road. Against a team that had injury issues. No posts moved.

Vikes and Giants are scrubs. I could be wrong but I think eagles game was like week 1 (9ers) last years where most of the 2nd half was garbage time because the early portion of the game was a curb stomp.

Regardless of your opinion, I know Goff isn't a long term option for a SB contender. You even knew that until this year lol. Hope springs eternal I guess

Is that kind of like how you knew the Bears wouldn't finish in last place this year? Goff has been to the Superbowl. That is pretty much the definiton of "contender".

It’s fascinating to watch him talk himself into it tho.
Football Outsiders had a funny article regarding Goff and on his home/road splits but I’m too lazy to look it up.

Pretty sure if you look back I was saying bears would be last and lions could be a playoff contender before the season, ret@rd

He’s not even sure who’s he arguing with. He still expects a medal from me for the Lions beating the tanking Bears

My favorite teams
  1. New York Mets
  1. New York Knicks
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. New York Rangers
  1. Syracuse Orange
He’s just a hood ornament at this point. Irsay wants his next Luck or Manning.
Ballard should just get himself out of there while his name is still legit as a NFL GM which i would think it still is right now.

Lions will never be taken seriously with Goff as QB. He will blow it tonight and will blow it next year in the playoffs. Lions should draft a QB if they are confident in that prospect. And even if they have to give up the farm to do so. Goff can’t play outdoors against good teams and doesn’t play well in the cold. Lions hope tonight is that their run game pushes the pathetic Packers run D around all night.
Do you happen to know any teams in position to get a top QB in this draft that would like to trade down and take all Detroit's picks for the next couple of years? Hmmmmmmmmm:deer:

Eh, while I guess it has happened now a couple of times, generally speaking, guys only ever get 1 shot at GM. So, I am not surprised that he is trying to see it through. And quite honestly, he did it to himself. He was too scared to take a real shot at replacing Luck. He kept putting past their prime veterans in there to just keep dragging it along. I kinda see his Chicago front office roots in how he has completely mismanaged the QB position as a GM.

He had a team built to win now but just needed a QB, so he took swings on some veteran QB's that have had success in their careers but they just couldn't find success when going to Indy. I don't blame Ballard for trying. I think sometimes us fans on message boards maybe don't understand how hard it is to find a good QB and think it should be easy to do from behind our computers.

He thinks he’s getting a rise out of posters when most bears fans were checked out after the draft.
My whole goal this year was to watch:

1. Fields develop more. Check. Still has more work to do but was expected.
2. Tank and get a massive haul in a trade down. Tank is complete. Trade down is TBD.
3. Get rid of the aging vets from the prior regime. Check.
4. Watch the youth movement progress. Somewhat, problem was there is only several to watch develop that are long term.

This year has been a success to me. Watching the Packers lose tonight would be even better.
