Lamar is going to **** himself when he either has a huge drop-off in play or gets hurt. With his play style he won't last long. If I'm Baltimore I'd use those franchise tags while I find his replacement

I dont think Baltimore will pay him because they are too smart to give out that type of contract to a playoff loser. Should be interesting to watch play out

You’re not entirely wrong. I agree with a concept of a base, 3-4 or 4-3, but, in today’s NFL, I think the base is now the DL set up. I wouldn’t be surprised to start seeing 3-3 concepts, but using a big safety as a Whip/Edge/read rusher.
I mean, just because there are 4 down linemen, doesn’t necessarily mean they line up A,B, &C gap responsibilities.
So, I know you know football, so I get why you’re saying they’re fan theories because scheme trumps base defense, but, especially with what Fangio did with disguising DL bad man/zone concepts under a 2 high shell, there is still a belief in a Linebacker based attack.
You’re not wrong, but we are in flux, now.
