He's retiring for good, unfortunately.
Of course he just retiring why would he want to be a part of the **** show that is the bears they need newer blood and perspective anyways I think they should do something really literally outside the box and interview Pam Oliver literally woman of color and has deep and wide nfl exposure to everything behind the scenes and on the side of the sidelines.

Can't get excited about yet another firing after having lived through three of these. I'm exhausted from this cycle of optimism/pessimism that comes with each new FO/HC combo.

It's way past show me the money time. I'll get excited when you show me the money. Get into the playoffs and win a few playoff games. Until then I couldn't care less.

You aren't even a bear fan so maybe who cares if you care or less.

Exactly. Even if they hire Harbaugh it doesn't mean anything.

The only things I could get preemptively excited about is Pederson or McDaniels.

I would literally destroy your liver with a leg kick and you would have to pee through a tube for the rest of your life so maybe just sit down and show some respect for the younger generation that will literally fix all of the messes you have created fat boy.
A leg kick is literally a kick to the leg. Not the liver

sorry i had to

Pam Oliver....sideline interviewer??? To run the Bears organization? To build a winner?

Son, did you grow up under power lines as a kid?

The more this fucking rumor keeps getting thrown around, the more I start to worry that it might actually be true.

I could not imagine a worse move the Bears could make than hiring Leslie Frazier as their head coach. His resume is dogshit. I just can't understand why there is any interest in him at all. Truly. Matt Nagy has a much better resume than Leslie Frazier, and I don't think he'll ever get another HC opportunity ever again.

Probably more pushed by friends and agents of Leslie.

I hope that whoever the Bears hire as head coach actually wants Justin Fields as their QB unlike the crap that Nagy pulled this past season. From everything that's come out as well as actions on/off the field, it's pretty apparent he wanted Dalton over Fields. So whoever they hire as head coach, they must want Fields as their QB and to succeed while devoting the resources and energies necessary to do everything they can to make him successful. They've got a lot of young guys on offense so they need to find position coaches that can develop these young guys to maximize the existing roster.

As for GM, I hope they get a GM that trades up only when absolutely necessary. I'd rather stay put or trade down for more picks than trading up at seemingly every opportunity. Get someone that can evaluate talent, isn't hellbent on overpaying at all costs whether in trades/free agency and can clean up the cap situation.

I leave the actual hiring to people smarter than me.

The tin foiled hat version has now been shut down, despite being right and having 10x more activity even with me excluded ;)
Ummm..no shit? This thread was just started. That thread was live for weeks.

Welcome to earth. When you look in the sky those white things floating around are called clouds. The bright orange thing is called the sun. Don't look directly at it.
