I am patiently waiting for the Harbaugh and McDaniels interviews.

Will they come?
College coach interviews may happen under the radar. They can't have it out there to recruits they are potentially leaving.

Bears have absolutely no idea who or what they want with all these interviews.

Interviewing 15 people means you had no plan on what you wanted before firing the current HC. You had more than enough time to get your top candidates in, put out feelers, interview them and be done with it.

But that's how organized franchises do things.

Do what??? The plan is to cast a wide net and find the best person. We have no idea if the Bears had already back channeled and these are the people they targeted.

Just hire Dodds/Flores don’t over complicate this. If you can’t get Harbaugh or McDaniels this is the best path.

Analytics are used all over the NFL. From who to draft, what free agents to consider, to scouting opponents and self scouting.

For instance: When a certain formation is presented, even fans know the play call, let alone the opposing defense. When the QB changes the play, it's ALWAYS to a run. Etc, etc.

Analytics, applied properly, would discourage the above. It's come out recently that the Bears have had very little of this going on and it's not at all surprising.
