And? Am I expect to believe that Saban wins solely off talent? There are plenty of talented teams out there that underperform every single year in CFB. To think recruiting classes alone win you championships in CFB is laughably stupid.

To think that is the argument is laughably stupid. The point is Bama clearly has far superior talent to most teams hence why Saban has been wildly successful. He failed in the NFL because it isnt as easy for him to go 2 or 3 deep at every position in the NFL as it is in college.

There are plenty of good coaches in college. What separates Bama is not Saban consistently outcoaching everyone but Saban having a roster that is consistently better than everyone.

That doesnt mean he is not a good coach but it does mean just presuming he will succeed in the NFL like he does at Bama is stupid.

You give any good coach including Saban the No 1 recruiting class 80% of the time and they will find a way to win. What Saban has not proven is recently is being able to take a less talented team and win because again the gap in talent in the NFL is much smaller than Bama sees in college.

The season ended less than 48 hours ago.
And? The Bears have asked to interview all kinds of coaches within these last 48 hours. I just find it odd that Harbaugh is not one of them, whether that's with the Bears or for other teams. It's not like he hasn't had time to prep.

Do you think the Bears send out a press release with everyone they requested an interview from?

The Harbaugh smoke is much to do with nothing. It was the same when Nagy and his counter parts had their round of HC interviews. Harbaugh this, Harbaugh that. I have ties to Michigans athletic department. He's not going anywhere. that's the consensus.

Harbaugh leaving was always a tough get. He gets paid more at Michigan and has a longer leash as he can keep losing CFPs and to OSU and still have a job. The job security there is off the charts.

Tell me you don't follow recruiting without telling me you don't follow recruiting.

Just because the media hasn’t reported it doesn’t mean it’s not happened. Harbaugh could have had an interview already for all we know.

Michigan cut his salary, he’s making less than 5 mil a season before incentives. Harbaugh has a huge ego based on everything written in regards to his time in SF. He could feel some underlying resentment with his pay cut, even though it was warranted.

It’s not aboot the actual money necessarily, but a feeling of being slighted. His brother makes 9 mil a season in Baltimore. Again, this opinion is based on reports of his petty attitude in San Fran while battling the GM.

I guess you worry about that if you aren't confident you're going to turn things around.
True. Giants can turn things around in a big hurry if they can bring in (much) better guys this time. Franchise multiple titles is alluring.

He is in negotiations with Michigan to extend his deal. That will come with a pay raise.

And unlike the NFL, you get to dodge opponents whenever you feel like it by playing the Covid card.
