Maybe he is? Good question.I dont understand why he isn't next in line for the Steelers if Colbert is retiring after the draft.

Read somewhere that their pro scouting guy is next in line. I guess Khan handles the cap? Not sure what else he does.I dont understand why he isn't next in line for the Steelers if Colbert is retiring after the draft.
Ohhhh. Give me the pro scouting guy then lolRead somewhere that their pro scouting guy is next in line. I guess Khan handles the cap? Not sure what else he does.
Thanks!I'm not sure if it is an *** OFFICAIL *** record but it is damn impressive. Well done @MDB111™ !
I would offer this. There are decisions and direction given on the non-football operations side of the business . We tend to see only the most visible football stuff, like games, coaches, wins, losses, players. Phillips is probably a great business man with respect to business plans and strategy and has probably made the organization a lot of money. The trust that McCaskey speaks of might be from 30 years of doing a good job there and 30 years of being an honest business man. I agree that GM and Coach choices were not good in terms of wins and losses. Nagy failed, and Pace failed too, on wins and losses, and more importantly the horrible trend in wins and losses. How in the hell can George "trust" Teddy as Teddy has failed at every GM pick to date? How? Someone explain that one to me?
100% agree, Teddy may be great at overseeing operations of the Bears, but that's different than picking GM's, something he has historically been a disaster. George should realize that and keep him the hell away from the picking of a GM or a HC for that matter.I would offer this. Bears requested permission to interview Patriots’ director of scouting Eliot Wolf for their GM job, per source.

KEEP EM COMING!!!
I'd still take Dobbs over him. Dobbs is my #1. Bears are looking at a lot of good gm options though. They'll probably hire Ireland lol. This is a big one IMO.
All depends on how quick they get through interviews: really have no clue at this point.I'd still take Dobbs over him. Dobbs is my #1. Bears are looking at a lot of good gm options though. They'll probably hire Ireland lol.
When do you think they'll make a gm decision? I was thinking next Monday- Tuesday
Just one of? I thought it was for sure him like how DeCosta was next in line for the Ravens GM job for yearsOmar Kahn of the steelers next up for GM interview.
