That’s also the same universe where Byron has never done that and decided a QB who throws 30 INTs should lead the league in attempts.

And by this very logic Brady improved under Leftwich dum dum. He went from 24 TDs to 40 and 43 TDs. How is a 66% increase in TDs not improvement?

The argument could be made it’s as simple as Brady having a better set of targets so his numbers went up. Fairly common knowledge he wanted better weapons in his last few seasons in NE.

It is an NFL job. You can easily find people as thr NFL is a small world. Do you honestly think coaches only ever hire guys they know? The same way you scout players, you can scout coaches.

No they didnt. Brady went from middle of pack throwing deep to leading the league. They tweaked things but it is clearly a vertical offense when compared to what he typically ran in NE.

Well because they struggled early. People were shitting on Brady around the time of the Bears loss. That team did not take off until 2nd half of the year after they made adjustments.

Bills WRs sucked until they got Beasly and then Diggs the year after. Before that they top targets had like 600 ie Clay in 2017 before Allen and Zay Jones in 2018. So his improvement clearly coincided with getting miuch better weapons.

I don’t care what they averaged per rush. You literally don’t have to have success running the ball to have a successful play action pass game. Your job is to adapt as a coach, we just saw Nagy fail miserably at that. Clearly the picks hurt the team a lot given how impressive that defense has been the last few years and considering they didn’t win shit with Winston being a turnover machine.

What the Patriots did is irrelevant, we are not discussing whether or not to hire a member of the Patriots organization.
