Why? Proven QB or rookie with horrible stats but lots of potential? Raiders job certainly has its own appeal.
If you believe the reports, Harbaugh called the Bears at the end of last year. Why would he do that if he was not interested in coaching the Bears? This is supposedly his dream job, so there is a built in connection here that he doesn't have anywhere else, including the Raiders.

Yes, the Raiders job has its own appeal, but the point is that if the Bears wanted him—and Harbaugh is willing to leave Michigan—you cannot allow another team to beat you out for his services. All George has to do is ask him how much. Everybody has a price.

I don’t think money is the issue. Bears would pay.

The notion that's all it would take to land him is quite silly. There's a new precedence set in NCAA on what top college coaches are getting paid. Jim is currently renegotiating with Michigan. Look at what his peer just got at Mich. ST. Harbaugh is about to be a very rich man. He's not coming to the NFL. Just like last time when Nagy went through the process. Recruiting is his passion.

Yeah it’s not money IMO.

A: he likes the attention
B: he really is torn.

he gets paid either way.

I’m sure Polian loves Ossenfort since they don’t like analytics in Tennessee. Polian can understand him, probably has notes on paper as well which got the old juices flowin as Polian pulled out his pencil.

what an exciting time to be a bears fan, ossenfort and Frazier. The best of the best for us.

I have no problems with Ossenfort from the little I’ve seen so far.

According to the Bills forum, Frazier has taken to the analytics side of the game a lot more than some of his younger counter-parts which the Bills have really liked (and seems to be paying off). He's the least favorite choice by far for many, but I appreciate that he's trying to keep up with the current times of the game.
