I should be glad Fields will get another start, but I lost pretty much any hope with him until next year after the Browns game. Here we all thought since he was given the #2 slot, that Nagy had been getting him ready all off-season and Camp, and the dude looked like he was in the lineup for the first day.
Maybe Lazor calling the plays would help.

I think it also depends on the Bears D. They've been decent thus far, Goff always seems to shit the bed against them, but they didn't show up the last time they faced the Lions, allowing 41 points AT Soldier Field.

It was 34 points. 460 total yards, 400 passing yards.

The Bears were winning 30-23 with about 3 minutes to go. And then allowed two TD’s in less than 2 minutes.

So I am not losing my mind. It’s been a long time since the Bears gave up 41 points or more to the Lions

Aaronitout and his "green bay can't play in florida" shit is my new favorite excuse.

That is better than the Cutler beetus night time excuse.

You are saying weather advantages don't exist on football?

Wow. That's interesting. Almost like noone who watches football would ever say or imply that lol.

I think it is going to rain during much of the game. Will that impact Lazer's game plan?

Two things I am sure of.....

Bears win and plenty of call out threads for me (even though I predicted a loss in the prediction thread)

Bears lose and they will claim happiness and a victory anyways (Nagy closer to getting fired).

It's actually pretty funny watching the Bears fans coming up with someway to justify a loss to a team that is actively tanking. And I have not said it would happen, for the record, I think this game is about as close as a "pick 'em" as you can get. I just want to see continued improvement for the Lions and rookie growth during year one of a complete teardown. If the Lions finish 1-16 I am fine with it. So far I like what I have seen from the coaching staff.
Nah, we're just torn. Would like to see Fields and OL play well enough and have Nagy pull some bone headed crap that brings the Lions back in the game like last year to make it close at the end. The ultimate win win scenario. A victory with Nagy getting the hook.

You rather beat the Bears than Packers or Vikings?

For me this season, it's a "I hope we can beat the Lions" But if I could trade the wins for Packers wins, I would give you the satisfaction of two wins over the Bears. Christ, you deserve that much for continuing to root for such a horrible franchise.
And before you get butt hurt, yes the Bears are a horrible franchise too but they are better than the Lions. Every year I can say "At least they aren't the Lions"
Its his Super Bowl.

who do we have that can steal 2nd or lay down a bunt????
Stealing bases and bunting have become a thing of the past, unfortunately. Kind of like Bears weather. They put the entire defense in one side of the field and these idiots try to hit it through them and now hit .210.
