Dalton also wouldn’t have had 5 different 20+ yard throws that helped set up TDs and a field goal.
The fumble was a bad mistake. But there have also been a ton of positive, dynamic plays by Fields today, plays that Dalton can’t make.

I'm not sure the Lions' strategy of falling behind two or three touchdowns then attempting a furious comeback late in the game when their opponents have basically given up is a good one.
