Wait what? The first round went 7 games? I missed that.

:facepalm: I meant 6 and was thinking of Atlanta.

It sure as hell seemed like 7 though with with just about every game coming down to the last minute. That series took a major toll on my brain.

Since January against teams that would make the playoffs today:
@Lac - W
Mem - W
Atl - W
@Orl - W
@Atl - L
@Bos - W
@Mem - L (No Rose)
Ind - L (No Deng, Gibson)
@Mia - L (No Deng, Watson)
@Phi - L (No, Deng)
@Nyk - W (No Deng, Before Lin)
@Bos - L (No Rose)
Bos - W (No Rose)

LAC was in December.

I said early January, not the very begining so obviously I was excluding the first couple of days.

Orlando being one playoff team.

When we beat Boston and New York neither of them were in the top 8.

Boston was in the top 8 the second time but that was after they had just come off a big winning streak putting them in the top 8 for the only time this year. And since then they have lost 6 of 7 and are right back to falling out of the top 8.

And I already said I wouldn't worry about playing Boston, Atlanta, and maybe Orlando in the playoffs.

Not that I don't want to notice but that I personally shouldnt actually debate those years based on my lack of knowledge bc im 26 years old. And to be honest, I'm not much of a history geek when it comes to the NBA. Sorry I'm not afraid to admit I dont know what I'm talking about, unlike some who have their opinion on everything(thanks to google) and just like to argue... Rules haven't changed, but people obviously have different views on what an MVP is and the criteria that goes with it. Yes I look at the word value and I say a player on a less talented team is more valuable than a player who plays alongside perennial all-stars and in Wades case, a future HOFer. Is that really such a crazy opinion in your eyes? Oh wait of course not, it's LeBron. Best player in the world so he's automatically the MVP. Face the facts right? Please. You're incapable of actually reading an opposing opinion and actually taking a second to think about and understand why someone might think that. Instead let's just tell people what they think.

Btw nice to see that once again, your biggest contribution to the forums is LeBron praising/defending. God forbid you don't get into a pissing match every single time you post.

You are so worried about my contributions to this forum...block me. Simple as that. People on these forums are here for various reasons. If you don't like what I have to say, block me and for gods sake you don't have to respond.

I am sorry, but you made a statement that a player's value is directly affiliated with the talent on their team. I pointed out that a player can be valuable with superstars. And I showed examples. You said "you don't care about what happened decades ago...." quite a bit dismissive on your part.

Now google is a very nice tool to use. You can actually research some of this stuff and find that stuff out...but I am going to make a suggestion...

use common sense.

If Bird and Magic played on teams where two of their teammates are on the list of top 50 players of all time...good chance they played with some decent players...you think?

Kevin McHale? Kareem? Parish? Worthy? All time great players. All hall of famers, just like Wade will be. Was Magic any less valuable? No...not really.

Using your argument, Russell shouldn't have won awards over Wilt and Oscar because Wilt had far worse teammates, and Oscar had nobody of recognition. That isn't how the award works. But then again, you don't know the history of MVP in the NBA, because you are 25.

How in the hell did you pass a history class?

By the way...I am the one that caught hell on this forum for suggesting 2 years ago that I would take Durant over Rose. So I have nothing against Durant and I think he is an MVP candidate, just not the leading candidate.

LeBron is the God of all that is NBA basketball.

He is the best defensive player in the league. He is the best scorer in the league. He is the best passer in the league.

He is basically untouchable.

Rose should just gift-wrap his MVP award from last season and send it to LeBron because LeBron is clearly better than him.

Anyone who says Durant is the MVP so far this season should be taken out back and shot.

Didn't y'all know?

This is from you stating that Lebron didn't guard Howard one on one and then getting mad when proven wrong? Okay...tell your story walking.

I have not said gift wrap the MVP for anybody. But the opposite statement was made concerning Durant, and I disagreed and said Durant is not without peer. Do I believe Lebron is playing at an MVP level? Yes. I have him number 1 and Durant number 2. By no means though do I think Durant is miles ahead of Lebron this season...

Let's see LeBron Andrew Bynum one-on-one. If LeBron James ever had Dwight Howard as an ASSIGNMENT, even the referees would not be able to swallow their whistles.

James is the better defender than Durant but Durant is definitely the better scorer and is depended upon more in the clutch than James. And who has better help? LEBRON JAMES and EASILY! Wade is WAY better than Westbrook and Bosh is WAY better than Ibaka. James Harden is a nice piece that does a lot of the things Durant and Westbrook do anyway. The Heat also have Battier and Haslem off of the bench.

Durant clearly has won a number of more games for his team this season than James has for his if you actually paid attention and put any value into the number of regular season games won so far.

You go out of your way to be a contrarian on this site to feel as though you hold some sort of superior basketball knowledge because you are the only "objective" ones out of us. Would you ever admit in a million years that the Thunder depend more upon Durant than the Heat do on LeBron James for their good record - no.

Like I said, Lebron guarded Howard Sunday afternoon...you dismissed it...and didn't watch the damn game. This from a guy who never saw Lebron use a give and go play in Cleveland...good grief.

And no, I won't admit that Durant is more valuable to the Thunder than Lebron is to Miami. Lebron scores more efficiently with less opportunity to score, is Miami's best and primary ballhandler and the team's best defender. I think Durant is having an MVP season, but I think Lebron is the league MVP this year.

And if Durant is a way better scorer...that ain't what's happening THIS SEASON! But I tell you what, I agree with Larry Bird, Lebron is a way better player...

Now that both Lebron and Durant have played the same amount of games,Durant is leading in scoring and rebounding.Today Lebron's 18 points and 4 rebounds dropped his stats a little bit.

Yeah.I just said it because you wrote that ain't what's happening this season!.

I don't care about the stats.For me what I count more is the Wins that each of them has produced for their teams.I told you before that for me Durant is this year's MVP so far no matter he had a bit worse stats than LeBron.

Now Durant is slightly better in points,rebounts and blocks.Who gives a ****.That is not what matters imo.

If you don't like what I have to say, block me and for gods sake you don't have to respond. Not worried, I jut think you're a complete cocksucker. Go cry about it on your podcast like you did the first time I called you ***. hou: Wahhhhh they say Im lebrons loverboy. Co-host: man datz ignant, farealz. Sorry if I think a poster should contribute something outside of constant contrarian bs. I have no issue with you're LeBron obsession or your opinions. Just your sole obsession with arguing and only posting when you feel a need to call someone out.

I am sorry, but you made a statement that a player's value is directly affiliated with the talent on their team. I pointed out that a player can be valuable with superstars. And I showed examples. You said "you don't care about what happened decades ago...." quite a bit dismissive on your part. You pointed out that a player can be valuable with superstars. I never said a player had no value with superstars. I said that they're less valuable. If you don't understand what I'm saying, sorry, you're slow. Keep comparing a coward superstar like LeBron to Jordan and bird. Last time I checked they didn't run away from their city to ride another superstars coattails.

Now google is a very nice tool to use. You can actually research some of this stuff and find that stuff out...but I am going to make a suggestion...I would have much rather watched the NBA as a whole so I could have a in depth knowledge of what was going on around the league. that's the problem with google whores, they think they can discuss whatever topic bc the googled something. I'd rather my eyes and experience speak for me when it comes to sports convo, not google.com

use common sense.You first

If Bird and Magic played on teams where two of their teammates are on the list of top 50 players of all time...good chance they played with some decent players...you think? yea and? Theyd be/are still great, as is LeBron

Kevin McHale? Kareem? Parish? Worthy? All time great players. All hall of famers, just like Wade will be. Was Magic any less valuable? No...not really. beating dead horse

Using your argument, Russell shouldn't have won awards over Wilt and Oscar because Wilt had far worse teammates, and Oscar had nobody of recognition. That isn't how the award works. But then again, you don't know the history of MVP in the NBA, because you are 25. that and that I don't care to know how many awards those guys won and who they played with bc the history of the NBA doesn't really interest me. Not outside of Chicago at least. I never plan on getting into Oscar Robinson debates and don't plan on giving my opinion, unlike you who needs a say in everything bc you're such a student on the game. Good for you, you know more about the 60s than someone who doesn't care about it. Maybe sometime me and you can get into a conversation about neuromuscular therapy bc I'm sure we both have the same interests, right?

How in the hell did you pass a history class?bc I was given the required assignments and reading material to pass the class bc that was mandatory for me to graduate. This isn't school and I'm not required to learn about the NBA from however many years ago, dumbass.Lmfao, for such a know it all, you surely lack common sense.

By the way...I am the one that caught hell on this forum for suggesting 2 years ago that I would take Durant over Rose. So I have nothing against Durant and I think he is an MVP candidate, just not the leading candidate.
Good for you.

On that note I'll never write that much from my phone again. I'll leave it at that bc you obviously have trouble comprehending simple points and opposing thoughts. Have fun getting into constant pissing matches, that's if the load LeBron shot on your face doesn't affect your ability to read others posts.

When I tell you that other superstars have played with superstars and won MVPs, it doesn't matter how those superstars got together. I know you don't know much NBA history but Lebron has won 2 MVPS already. Google it dumbass!

Its sad that your only response to a cognizant argument is "you're ***" and to continue to make homophobic statements. It shows where your maturity is. That said, I don't think I am the one obsessed with another person's statements on a forum. You are, without a doubt, an idiot.

You are another one of those that follow my every word and add nothing to the conversations but criticism. Ever notice that I don't usually say anything or respond to you? Because you are a waste of time, and a waste of space on my computer screen. So since you have a problem with my statements and in the midst of conversations, heated or whatever, you can respond only with some homophobic statements that really tell more about your own lifestyle...I will block you.

Why? Not just because you are a dumbass who don't know shit about basketball, the history of the sport, nor the players in the game...but you are incessant in following me around and stalking me with your ignorance. Get a clue, get a hobby, get a life.

I have asked you time and time again to block...you won't, you can't...so just stay a fanboy dumbass, join the houheffna fan club, make sure you put a check in the mail...later.

The world would be a better place if your goofy ass never gave another thought on a public forum.
