I'm 'meh' with Crawford. I wouldn't be opposed to him coming to Chi but I won't be overly excited either.

Yeah Crawford to me is good off the bench. He can be a good spark off the bench for the team. The bench could use his scoring punch. I'm just not a big fan of trading for him.

I like Hayes, he fills the cracks as good as any role player in the NBA.

RicBucher: Hearing Shane Battier bound for the Heat. Not strong enough to write a news story but no league talk of him going elsewhere.

If this is true then the Heat are a Dalembert away from a dominant season and playoff run. And the Bulls will no longer be the best defensive team in the league.

Dalembert is likely going to Houston. If Battier is going to the Heat, it's probably for almost, if not, all of the MLE. There's no way him & Dalembert are splitting $5mill. I just don't see it.

And the Heat were #2 D last year. They get Battier, they are #1, especially if we trade Brewer for Crawford.

Yeah, there seems to be a complete lack of parity now, so the Bulls need to try and get someone good for the 2 spot so that they can counter these super teams.

I read sometime that said the new CBA helps the Heat in the short term.

What a fn surprise. Why not? The refs already help them. While the celtics, lakers and Mavs window is quickly closing the CBA helps them short term. The Bulls or Thunder need to get real and stop these guys before they figure it all out
