Detroit sucks!
Just because "clutch" can't be measured in a number doesn't mean that it isn't useful in determining a player's value. Sample size still does have to be taken into account.

Some on here are :lol:ing at my claim of clutchness in the playoffs.

Though it can't be measured, it's still an intangible that has to be looked at when acquiring players and building a team.
I agreeagree with the people :lol:ingjust kidding <3 being clutch is really important. Who gives a damn about the regular season if you shit your pants when it matters most?

Anything can happen any given time in sports.Or maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe...Texas was just the better team. Not that it's a guarantee of winning in the postseason, but Detroit was tops in the shittiest division in baseball while Texas had to hold off the Angels who were in contention until the last week of the season. Hmmm.
Just food for thought, folks. Detroit did beat the Yankees though, showing that in a short series, it's a bit of a crapshoot. Could still turn out that way in the World Series. Intangibles are just a lazy way of spinning a narrative.

Give me Boston's roster all day over Detroit's. Give me New York Yankees' roster all day over Detroit's. Detroit played better in those 5 games when they needed to.
They didn't play well in the game tonight, when they needed to as well.
To throw intangibles out the window because they can't be quantified with a number is wrong.
Well I think I am rooting for the Brewers to face off with Texas. Anyone is better than the Cards. Plus either team who should win would be a franchise first which is pretty cool I think.
