You want to talk about density? How can you continue to miss the point despite all the evidence before you. Players that make it to the big leagues will perform about the same in all situations if given enough time in each situation. That is why players numbers with RISP fluctuate wildly from year to year. That is why we can give you examples of great players like Cliff Lee and Justin Verlander struggling in the postseason and meh at best players like Colby Lewis dominating. It isn't due to some character flaw but rather sample size.

This goes beyond Ramirez, but rather how one should evaluate players. Performance in the postseason is the most important time for players to perform, but the idea that players can dramatically raise or lower their production depending on the situation is not supported by any empirical evidence.
Do you want me to start making up good numbers for Ramirez?

No, I want you to understand those numbers in the proper context. I want you to understand that players cannot raise or lower their performance drastically depending on the situation.

Otherwise then you must really think that Justin Verlander isn't that great since he has been terrible in the postseason as well...

He's clutch when I say he is. That's how it works. Don't you people know anything about clutch?

Interesting. A no-out bunt with runners on 1B and 2B with the pitcher up. Now Jaime Garcia is up with runners on 2B and 3B with one out.
