There's still plenty of THC in it and it's already been decarbed.
Save it.
When you have enough mix a gram or so into a milkshake.
Or you can make butter or whatever with it. You don't have to use fresh bud.

Figure AVB at about 50% of unvaped bud for making budder/oil. Hardly useless. It's already decarbed so no need for that part of the cooking.
It may have a taste you don't like, you can rinse it in water to remove it. Cannabinoids aren't water soluble so they stay.

As above, the simplest way is to eat it directly. You can make firecrackers. crackers with spread of your choice covered with AVB. Try that and you'll see it still has plenty left in it to use.

If you're not using the AVB you're making it border on not being worth it to vape dry herb.
Vaping uses about 50%. Smoking uses about 75%. Vaping leaves the other 50% there for you to re-use. Smoking destroys the other 25% so you can't use it.
So when you use the AVB to make budder/oil you extract 80%-90% and come out on top of smoking. Otherwise smoking comes out on top of vaping dry.

AVB = Already Vaped Bud, also called Duff in some groups. I prefer Duff and have that written on my jars but AVB seems to get more use around the internet.

I fully understand folks who are paying for weed to use every drop. I am getting to the point of throwing it away because it is over a year old and getting really dry. I kept it in the freezer until this Covid-19 shit and I needed the room so I could hoard meat and shit.

I fully understand folks who are paying for weed to use every drop. I am getting to the point of throwing it away because it is over a year old and getting really dry. I kept it in the freezer until this Covid-19 shit and I needed the room so I could hoard meat and shit.

I think the same way about people who need to grow the "best" (whatever that's supposed to mean, but I'm guessing from how they talk, the highest THC) or whine about a couple seeds in a dispensary 8th because it costs THC.
I could take an average THC variety and grow it with seeds to brick weed proportions and it would be plenty strong. I'm trying a variety that could be from epileptic kid stuff to weak 1:1 just so I can get the volume of all the other cannabinoids.

Once I dial in my growing I'll probably be in the same boat. I may even be there without dialing it in. If I get 2 grams per branch (should be easy) I'll have plenty from the high THC variety even if it was the only one I grew. Add in the kid stuff and 1:1 I still have one grow cycle left over.
The old man can use it like I used to.

I count 28 buds in the light, that's not including everything down those branches or lower branches I can't see from the top. Break even for everything I spent to grow is 1 7/8ths oz at IL dispensary prices. I'm guessing I'll easily break even on one grow. That should be plenty for me but I need variety.
Pounds per plant would be a complete waste of money for me. I could go much smaller scale and faster turn around and get enough. (Outdoor is not allowed in IL, plus I think our weather could turn anything into ditch weed, seen it happen many times.)

I'll really enjoy growing the kid stuff and 1:1 (assuming they get along with me), I won't pay modern prices to party like it's 1979. Closest I've come to being able to enjoy 1:1 like I'd want is mail order hemp and mix high THC varieties to 1:1 levels.

About 500g in a pound.

Depends what it's being rated for and who to.
If I want an honest opinion I want it honest but you could throw in but it only cost $40/mo for electricity.
Wanting to go pro it has to be judged on going price or what it would go for. Nobody wants to sink that kind of money into it only to find their friends just really like free weed.
Your cohabitater fellow cardholder who's sharing the 5 plant limit in IL, they can base it on free all they want.
