I don't have any plants to show off, but my wife has really taken on a passion for making edibles here at home. Our pantry is getting pretty nice looking these days. I posted earlier about making THC infused pizzas for tomorrow's NFL Opener. That all started with my wife making me some infused olive oil.
Did two cups of oil with each cup coming in at about 1200-1300mg of THC. For those pizzas...I use a 1/4 cup for two pies...so about 160mg per pizza or 20mg per slice. Not for beginners.
(the advance class coming over for the game is getting a butter crust that will probably kick that closer to 25mg per slice)
One tablespoon lumps of cannibutter. 10mg each. Kept in the freezer until needed.
Agave & coconut oil.
Honestly not sure about the agave, but the coconut oil is an even 1000mg per cup. She usually does two cups at a time and is a really good base for just about any edible treat you wish to make yourself.
The nice thing about going this route is it makes really good use out of some of your lesser quality strains. This whole pantry was made from very average 8% per gram "schwag" buds. A perfect solution for home growers that don't want to put in the effort to grow stickiest of the ickiest.
Will check back in with some shots of some actual edibles another time. Anyone else getting all magical in the kitchen???
That is some stout THCizza

Hosted somewhere more reliable...try again please.
Just a heads up for those who choose to vape oils or concentrates. Seems some THC oil products for vaping contain Vitamin E acetate, which they believe is casuing respiratory illness, and in a few cases death.
I stopped using any concentrates from solvents almost a year ago. Hash is my choice now.
Just a heads up that even though it is legal, it is still capitalism, and some suppliers will not be entirely honest, or ethical.
They can include many things. Metals from cheap vape carts, diluents of all sorts, etc. Solvents, especially CO2, are not necessarily the issue.
Yes, of course. I am aware. My point is that these concentrates are very easy to add fillers to without being obvious. CO2, yeah. Butane, propane, isopropyl that is not pure, etc.
None of these items are actually legal here. Our legalization laws only legalized the flower. Edibles and concentrates are not legal yet, and are a controversy right now. There are so many unlicensed dispensaries, that they are easy to obtain still.
Vitamin E has been used for about 40 years to dilute, or cut oils. As well as Vaseline petroleum jelly. Was a problem when I was a teenager, and one would hope these are the things eliminated with legalization.
Ughhh just don't vape, unless you are vaping dry flower.
This whole vaping thing is going to end up do much worse than just it.
I get the convenience and smell argument but it's not worth the risk especially when you're in a place where flower is legal.

Daaaaamn, 20mg/slice sounds paralyzing. Can you eat more than one slice and function at any non-sofa level?
Do you make your own Hash? Dry ice?
No. I don't have the room to grow my own unfortunately.
I have a nice dispensary in Vernon here that I know the owner. He has an excellent line on some choice Moroccan and Spanish hash. While I like the dry ice, or ice water bubble hash, I find the more traditional hash is more suitable to my tastes. More of a full plant extract, and not some crazy high THC with minimal or no CBD/CBN which results in a speedy, more paranoid feel.
