from what I've seen the past two days on the ground, Trubisky is the unquestioned starter and leader on the team. QB competition is over.

I would rather them be focusing on what they have behind Mack & Quinn than those two getting a bunch of reps anyhow.

Last couple of posts talked about the need to get reps for the other players and while that makes sense for injury concerns, our starters need to be out there getting the lion's share, IMO. Remember the opener against GB in '18? Defense was gassed. With no preseason this year they are going to have to get "game ready" in practice. It's a fine line, surely.

Don't mind hearing it from a player that thinks things may improve. As long as Mitch keeps working to get better, I'm good. It seems like Mitch is on a serious mission right now. I'll take whatever I can get but won't believe it until I see it.

i would think this is the pressure trubisky needs to be under, where each play is scrutinized...each bad decision....it's what I wish they had done w/ Grossman.....I remember a game years ago where Brees was w/ chargers and was terrible and they pulled him and put in Flutie, I always thought there were some games where they should have pulled Grossman to teach him a lesson
