Sources told ESPN's Emily Kaplan that Sorensen will coach the rest of the season and will be given an opportunity to get the full time job, as the Blackhawks think very highly of him. The Blackhawks plan on conducting a full coaching search after the season.
I remember this guy being inconsideration when they hired Richardson so maybe he does stick we'll see how it goes.

No HC is going to get very far with this roster, it's a joke.
Back in 2020-2021 I predicted the soonest that Stan the Lesser's roster and resources could flip back to relevancy would be 2025 and everyone panned me then for being a downer. Turns out I was optimistic afterall, this roster is years away from competing in the playoffs. Gonna have to clean house eventually. (read: GTFO Kyle Davidson, worthless tool).

Yeah the roster is nothing but bottom 6 guys at forwards. KD should have been launched with LuRich. Outside of Bedsy he hasn’t gotten another impact player.

You don't know, he keeps all his kids at Rockford. All he did this year was get his coach fired. To a team that can't score, he brings in a group of slow, past their prime guys who not only can't score but can barely defend. He's morphed into Hoyer pt2. If they dump him, I'm sure he can find work with the Cubs
