It's not the matter of people like Firsttimer, Houheffna, Nich, and myself criticizing Pippen. It's the matter of us stating our firm belief that LeBron James was an overall better basketball player than Pippen. That's what's getting under people's skins. And it's laughable. Chicago fans are a smart group of fans and not loud, obnoxious, huge ego'd morons like New York fans. We know our sports and love our team's and players. And are willing to criticize when need-be and praise when need-be.
Here's what I find offensive (not as a "Bulls' fan" as some poster [Glide] insinuates when you say ANYTHING negative about a Bulls' player and ANYTHING positive about another team's player) - what I find offensive is saying something like Derrick Rose had a better season than Jordan ever had in the 90's.
It doesn't insult me as a fan of Jordan. But it insults my intelligence.
And what also irks me is that he doesn't realize that he is making a HUGE insult about Michael Jordan to say that. And this SAME poster takes offense when somebody else says something as blatantly obvious as James>Pippen??
HYPOCRITE!
Give me a BREAK.
