I don't honestly know. I'd lean to say no, but I still believe Jordan would have won 4-5 titles.

Lol so Jordan would've won 5 titles with horace grant or toni kukoc as his wing men? Come on. Then why didn't he win when he had charles oakley?

I think the only title the Bulls would have won without Pippen in the line-up (without any decent starting replacement) is 1996.

I still can't honestly believe that because people say Lebron is better than Pippen (WHICH PIPPEN HIMSELF SAID) that it's wrong. It's OK to be a fan, but when your opinion of a player is disputed by the player (Pippen) himself.

People here have a problem when anyone says LeBron is not better than somebody. I see what you are saying about Pippen saying LeBron is better. But people here want to make it seem like Pippen doesn't touch LeBron and I disagree. Pippen himself didn't say all that.

People just get overly sensitive when LeBron gets criticized. I could say that his shoes are ugly and some here will go make threads on how to block me because I said that. Ridiculous.....

But your philosophy is flawed. Basically, if a player ain't the man, it must be because he's not good enough. That's just not a realistic summary of what a franchise player is. Cuz every player you named would be the number 2 guy if they played next to jordan.

And obviously all the players you mentioned were stopable, cuz they lost in most cases.

Like I said heff. Your not a bulls fan. And I'm sure you don't play basketball.
Hitting the nail on the head, once again.

The dumbest thing ever said by Houf, whatever it was, fails in comparison to saying that Derrick Rose's 2011 was better than any of Michael Jordan's seasons 1989-1998.
I clarified that by saying anyone not named Jordan. Go back and look. And if I didn't, it was my opinion.

Get over it.

For a Bulls forum, you sure do have a lot of lebron defenders, and one of them claims he hates lebron.

Crazy.

For a supposed avid Michael Jordan-watcher, you are sure quick to jump to this idea that Derrick Rose, of all people, had a better season last year than any of Jordan's seasons in the 90's.

Just sayin'

Lol...its the other way around...and WHO gets overly sensitive when Lebron is criticized?

People on this forum don't want to give Lebron any credit. That is what is happening on this forum. And it being a Bulls forum is a poor excuse...people choose to think irrationally because that is their choice...

It's not the matter of people like Firsttimer, Houheffna, Nich, and myself criticizing Pippen. It's the matter of us stating our firm belief that LeBron James was an overall better basketball player than Pippen. That's what's getting under people's skins. And it's laughable. Chicago fans are a smart group of fans and not loud, obnoxious, huge ego'd morons like New York fans. We know our sports and love our team's and players. And are willing to criticize when need-be and praise when need-be.

Here's what I find offensive (not as a "Bulls' fan" as some poster [Glide] insinuates when you say ANYTHING negative about a Bulls' player and ANYTHING positive about another team's player) - what I find offensive is saying something like Derrick Rose had a better season than Jordan ever had in the 90's.

It doesn't insult me as a fan of Jordan. But it insults my intelligence.

And what also irks me is that he doesn't realize that he is making a HUGE insult about Michael Jordan to say that. And this SAME poster takes offense when somebody else says something as blatantly obvious as James>Pippen??

HYPOCRITE!

Give me a BREAK.

You can say that until your jaw falls, we'll never know. But there is one thing we do know for a fact.

Jordan championships minus Pippen = 0

Pippen championships minus Jordan = 0

People give him credit, it's just that when some people point out his shortcomings, a barrage of posts come out to defend him as if LeBron has no flaws. Whenever he lost in Cleveland come playoff time, it was because of the other guys. He has always had a built in excuses. IPeople are just merely point out his flaws and they get attacked for doing so.

He gets a lot of credit on here from what I see. From what I've seen posted here he is the all and be all of basketball.

I don't know what posts you speak of...people speak up for Lebron when outrageous statements are made that are beyond reasoning (think "Worthy>Lebron"). I don't know anyone who acted as if Lebron has no flaws. I said he was the best in the game, I said he is the most talented player I've ever seen. I have said he is the top reason the Heat whupped the Bulls in the playoffs.

The real issue is people hate Lebron and get upset with those who don't. That is what's going on.

lmao another lebron topic thread?

we defend him because it seems like he's given a short stick because of people's personal opinions...

i wonder if he was still in cleveland right now would people still have the same opinion on how good of a player he is

anyway..lebron is far from perfect...but he is a damn good player...2 MVPs led cleveland to a bunch of winning seasons..cleveland of all places..and even made the finals

and then when he left they dropped like a rock..not a coincidence in the slightest..

Personally my hate for Bron is entirely off the court (aside from dancing around the court). He has ruined his legacy but IMO he is the best or second best player in the league today. He's clearly a once in a generational player.

I said it's not as laughable as you tried to make it seem that LeBron was light years ahead of Worthy. Never said Worthy was better.

Lol, some people on here actually can say something critical of LeBron, but it seems to most is that you can't say someone does this or that better than LeBron. People are deemed haters for criticising LeBron and that's just comical to me.
