Yep, it's almost like the one in Pitt where Cedeno was not even close to the base. But it also does not help, Theriot can't throw the ball any higher.

I knew that was not going to happen but I waas hoping he will opt to be sent down. He was good depth. But for his part, it was a good move. I think a team will pick him up.

Demp was getting tired but he kept him in there. Cashner can strike people out but Lou does not care. It does hurt when Fontenot can't pick up the ball to get at least 1 out. Why was he even playing? He should be on the RS now, oh that's right, JH fail that also.

its probably a good thing we are getting embarassed today, and will more than likely get swept in the series. we will be 14 games back in the division by sunday, and at that point, will no doubt be sellers. Lee, Lilly, Theriot, Fonty, Kosuke, Silva and any other vets should be traded for whatever prospects we can get. bring up guys like darwin barney, hoffpauir, jay jackson, and others to play out the rest of the season. this team isnt fun to watch, i would much rather watch some guys that have a little bit of promise than this sorry excuse for a major league team. but, more than likely, noone will be traded, Lou will continue to fall asleep in the dugout, and we will end up going about 76-86 and get a mid 1st round pick next year. what a great time to be a Cub fan!

Exactly...this is why baseball blows. The manager gets blamed for everything. This team sucks balls. Against the always wiley Reds and Pirate pitching staffs the Cubs are hitting a buck eighty. Eventually the pitching wears out from the stress of no support..offensively or defensively...and cracks. GIVE IT UP you lunatics!!! This team is DEAD.

I completely agree with you. They all play like they don't care. They should care they are getting paid all of that money to produce.. So start fucking producing. The manager shouldnt have to motivate players. Those god damn huge contracts should motivate them.

I still love the Cubs but I really hate Pinella. He looks so clueless, he has no fire in him, does not know how to use the players and is slow on making moves. I know the Cubs aren't hitting but the Cubs need a smarter manage. Pinella also does not care anymore.

I just dont think lou is to really blame here

he is just screwed because well the cubs are really falling off

it might be time to just seriously rebuild with all of our best players underperforming due to age,injuries,etc.

we do have a good pitching staff and young talent however

guess its time to look forward and try to set up for the future
