My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Toledo Rockets
The key is going to try to move the heavy contracts (Soriano, Zambrano, etc)

The Cubs rotation is very good and like Cubsdevil said, the young talent is there to build around.

its time to shake things up.

Yeah, it is. But where do you start? I mean everything has to be torn down and restructured from the lowest of minor leagues to Jim Hendry. I quit the Cubs about 5 years ago after the fucking White Sox won the World Series...NO, NO, NO...Im not a Sox fan. Im not even a baseball fan anymore, its just that the Sox winning was the last straw. Year after year after year of teams that cant do the simplest fundamentals of the game. Young players that come up and look promising but you soon realize that they havent been taught a thing in A, AA or even AAA ball. You wonder if they fail because of lack of skills or lack of instruction...Im guessing in a lot of cases, the latter. Pitchers that cant get a bunt down, hitters that are clueless about the strike zone, outfielders cant hit a cutoff man, base runners missing signs....it just goes on and on. No team in the history of sports has done so little and received so much support as the Chicago Cubs. Its mind boggling. Im done with them and with baseball. If you continue to invest your hard earned money on this train wreck....dont be bitching here. No one wants to hear it.

There is so much more going on in this city, that I refuse to let this kind of ineptness bother me. Even the friggin Bears have more upside than this team and they are a team poised to launch both their GM and Head Coach...so what does that tell you.

We all know Pinella is going to be gone after this year anyway so why not start rebuilding. We're fucking terrible as it is anyway. Everytime this team shows a glimpse of hope, they **** it up somehow. Get rid of the old fucks and the big contracts and let's just start over. I'd rather expect to be terrible than it surprise me like it did this year. I thought for sure if we could end the season last year above .500 with Bradley then there's no reason we couldn't contend this year. I was wrong.

Yeah Pinella will be gone so the Cubs can try but JH probably won't do it. That is what I'm afraid of.

I don't care who is in management...I'm just afraid the PLAYERS are going to play like shit again.
