Wells had thrown 80 pitches and given up 1 run...Furcal hit a ball that's a single in every ball park other than LA and Boston...
man, you really look for every possible reason to bash Lou. Why not blame an offense that scored 2 runs?

It was against a good pitcher and they hit the ball hard as hell. The whole point is Wells was over 100 pitches and was getting hit hard that inning before the homer. Also the lefty Russell was warming up and like everybody knows Lou, he loves the lefty lefty shit. I like Lou as a guy but for some reason it does not look like he cares this season and is really lazy.
