I like them more than Carmen Jurko and Harry, i listen to Waddle and Silvy on my morning deliveries and B&B on my afternoon ones. CJH seem like they are trying SO hard to be funny and id rather hear about sports than how smart Harry is....

Getting really fucking annoyed with sports talk in this city. Listening to Bernstein today was awful. I got to hear about the miami heat for 4 hours and his new gas grill for 2 hours.

Kind of a big bump but didn't think a new thread would be needed.

But, today on Facebook, David Schuster called my dad a racist for no reason.

It was a good discussion but he got mad when my dad said negative things about the NBA.

Nothing extreme what Schu said. It was really uncalled for.

I didn't appreciate a so called sports 'reporter' calling my dad a racist..

Perhaps let us know the conversation?

Okay, here is my two cents...

Respect Bernstein but he is grating at times...my friends think he is racist, I don't see that at all...but he can be a bit too much...surprised nobody has tried to assault him at one of their outings.

Love Boers and have for about 25 years now. I liked him when he was with the Sun-Times. And I think he has a great sense of humor.

I met Silvy before, nice guy, also a meatball. I think Waddle is hilarious at times and doesn't come off as too much of a blowhard just because he played in the NFL. Former athletes are not very enjoyable to listen to on a daily basis, he is one of the exceptions.

As far as the Carmen, Jurko and Harry. I like Carmen because he always seemed to want to talk Bulls more than anybody else. Harry is cool, his voice can get irritating after a while. Jurko completely lost me when he started calling other men "sweetie".

Murph is one of the worst radio personalities I have ever heard. Can't believe he was ever let back on the airwaves. I like Goff (friends think he is an Uncle Tom), but I think B&B hype him too much concerning basketball knowledge. They actually did a good job of "getting him over". They hyped him up so much that people believe he is the wise one when it comes to NBA.

Holmes is cool, but is perceived as a follower and not a leader, knows football though, and he is a nerd, so he is cool with me.

So that's about it, back to basketball...thanks for reading...enjoyed everybody's opinions.
