This obsession with Velus is weird. Teams fuck up better picks every year. Saw multiple higher picks get cut today alone.

True but he's one of a few of the offense with actual speed....and they finally figured out his role (mini cordelle Patterson) so I'd keep him around for now (not sure what the love for Carter is as they can find a guy like him on the waiver wire)

This year, NFL teams get to move two players to returnable IR on cutdown day, without having to protect them first on the 53. The only reason I can think of for the Bears to make this type of move with Scales is that they have two other guys to directly move to returnable IR. Maybe Borom and Amegadjie?

So "bubble" guys that made it that I see are Jaylon Jones, Daniel Hardy, Bill Murray, Ogbongbemiga, and Deandre Carter? Big fan of them finding room for Hardy, but also have trouble believing there isnt a better PR than Carter available somewhere.

Assuming they moved Borom to IR since he's not listed on the 53 or as cut??

Surprises would be

carter AND vjj both making it

Kramer making it (my guess is he's 1st gone if/when Bates is fully healthy...and prob isn't claimed and moved to PS)

Robinson AND Hardy both making it

Cutting:

baskerville and steward and bates all being let go (gotta think these 3 plus Jones jr are priority for the PS)
