You missed the point. They didn’t call a hit on our quarterback after he was down and was 100% worse than the touch on Mariota. Or did you missed that call like the refs?
Yeah, wasn’t watching, I’m talking about this call.

I believe @pablovi meant to say you can’t hit a quarterback on any team except the Bears

That’s a Judgement call I guess. The other one it’s in the rules.

“A rushing defender is prohibited from forcibly hitting in the knee area or below a passer who has one or both feet on the ground, even if the initial contact is above the knee.”
It's a judgemental call saying wrapping a guy's ankles is forcible contact. Stop stretching. It was inconsistent application of the rules.

That’s using force. When you tackle someone is using force.

Nope. That is not what is meant by forcible. Even the announcers questioned it. Gordon clipped his ankles with his arm.

That penalty is usually called when you drive your body into the QB below the knees.

Fields took some pretty stupid shots in games. the one where he got DDTed and his face planted into the ground with no flag particularly sticks out... except I don't remember which game that was now. lol

You can go low on the qb in the pocket period.

Gordon has gotten some questionable flags the last few weeks. Recall he punched the ball out on Goff and got flagged.

He bent his knees, I called it when it happened, look at the thread. It looked ”forcibly” but yeha, with that word, it’s always judgement.

Anyone else feel like missing Herbert is having a big impact on our running attack, and really the offense in general? They are trying to use Ebner in that role, but he is nowhere near as good.

You cannot tackle a QB at or below the knees. When both of his feet are in the ground.
Then why did they let the Falcons tackle our quarterback when he was down and his feet were on the ground? 2-3 seconds after he was tackled?

Almost every game he gets hit late with no calls. It’s sad and it’s gonna get him hurt

There's a certain way this offense should move at this point in the game. But since I'm not on the Bear payroll, no sense in
giving my game plan
