Getsy calls a fair amount of slants, Fields doesnt throw it much. Often if you see DJ out wide to far side of the field with no other eligible receivers on his side they will have him run a slant.

I only see what's on tv. I don't go back and disect tape. So I don't know if the reason the Bears can't or won't throw quick passes in the middle of the field is they're just not open, Getsy just doesn't call them, or Fields can't make those quick throws. IMO...that is the main problem that needs to be corrected.
